I know that there are as many answers as this question as can be...but I am interested in hearing some of your opinions about what day I should plan for each park. :hyper:
I will be getting there on a Friday Morning, April 30th and leaving in the evening of the following Friday, May 7th.

I am onsite with the Length of Stay tickets...so we will probably go to the parks everyday for at least part of each day.

We might drive to the beach for one of the days... that is the only NON-WDW thing we might do.

I don't think the parks are usually open very late in the first week of May.:earseek:

I am an anal planner and I will usually create a spreadsheet (in Microsoft Execl) of each day, park hours, special events (spectro, wished, illuminations, early entry) etc. and then seperately list out all activities I'd like to do (don't forget time for Dowmtown Disney, Disney Quest, Water Parks, hanging at the hotel, pools, Pleasure Island and shopping).

Also, try to determine which restaurants you'd like to try and what nights (for example you may want to go to Chef Mickey's on a nite of fireworks at MK so you can watch it)

Other things to consider:
1- Magic Kingdom not on Saturday -too crowded
2- Parks with early entry get crowded later in the day so go in the morning and then change parks

Hope this helps - have a great trip

touringplans.com has an interactive page that helps with deciding which days are traditionally least crowded depending upon the time of year. You may want to check it out.

I found it interesting by checking on the site noted above that gives suggestions on when to go/avoid that the days they listed to avoid the parks are the days that each park has EMH. Hmmmm;)
