I know there has been discussion about the quality of the food at AG, but with two DD's 7princess: & 5princess: there is no way we can miss it! We are planning our trip in September during the "slow" time and will be there from Tuesday through Saturday night. Would it be better to do AG during the week since it should be less busy and give the princesses more time with my family or would it be better to do it on Friday or Saturday since attendance will be up:crowded: and DL would have more staff (princesses) on hand? :confused3

I think I am over analyzing this but I also know I have received some fabulous advice from this board and want to absorb all your knowledge! :maleficen (insert evil genius laugh here)

I would probably say during the week, when it might be less busy and they'll have more time for you. They typically have 5 princesses at each meal, so being busy really doesnt result in more princesses, it just results in more people eating at the same time. But, I"m really just speculating and dont have anything to base it on. Seems like it is one of the those meals that is always busy regardless of how busy the park is. Oh, one thing you might want to consider though, is that if you are there in the off season, DCA closes early, around 6pm. On the days the park closes that early I believe you are going to be limited to lunch or a very early dinner.

They will have the same number of Princesses no matter when you do it, they may have "lesser" Princesses during the week though. When we've been during peak times it's the most popular 5, in non peak they have Pocahontas, Mulan, Princess Minnie, the Fairy Godmother. IMO those aren't "lesser" but for some they are.

We went to Ariel's Grotto last year in May. We chose to do our meal on a Thursday. The princesses we saw were: Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty and Ariel who is there all the time. It wasn't overly busy but I think we had reservation for a later lunch.

We went last monday at 1pm. We saw Mulan, Bell, Ariel, Jasmine and Snow white. The food actually was really really good. The rolls were great as was my chicken ceasar salad and husbands salmon blt. My son enjoyed the meat loaf. I was not crazy about the onion soup. 4 princesses came to the talble and one was in the foyer for formal pictures. My only complaint is that they took our 3 course order and our second course came out just after our soup. I would order separate if you want a more leisurely meal. With all your princesses I would definately do this! The desserts were yummy too!

I would suggest getting a daytime reservation. We went on a Sunday night and Monday afternoon. The afternoon pictures were soo much better with the natural light.

DD and I enjoyed our breakfast there last Sept. It was a weekday and the 1st PS time they had available. We saw ~ the "big" ones ~ Ariel (why wouldn't she be there??) Belle, Snow White, Cinderella & Aurora. We got to meet Pocahontus & Jasmine along with Cinderella during our trip this month at PFF and that was fun as well.
