What day are you checking in if you're going for Thanksgiving & where are you staying

:sunny:
11/17-11/23 (CBR)... Thxgiving dinner on the Autotrain on the ride home...working around a school schedule! :rotfl2:

we are arriving Nov 22 we will be staying off-sire. We are doing AK for Thanksgiving and I don't have any ADRs for that day. (I hope we don't starve :) ). We are checking into the GF on the 26 - December 3. I can't wait. :yay:

Redheaded mama -- You can always do counter service so you won't starve. The BBQ place at AK is really good. If you are thinking you want to do a sit down ...then you might want to see if you can get a ADR ... even a late one. Most of the places, all over WDW, that were sit down were only taking people who had ADRs. We ended up making a couple about 8:30pm at night and we were glad we had them. Just a thought.

Thanks for the info on Rose and Crown? Would you mind filling me on on what is on the pre-plated meal and what exactly was different?

Thanks, and hope you have a GREAT trip! It's getting closer and closer! :bounce:

We're staying at CR 11-21 - 11-26. Thanksgiving Dinner a day early at Liberty Tree Tavern. Thanksgiving day we're eating at the Coral Reef... a non-traditional thanksgiving meal. Is it time to start packing???!? :cool1:

Steven

Getting closer but this might yet be a tad early to start packing. I know the feeling though as we arrive at POFQ for three days on Thanksgiving Day and then switch over to the YC for eight days. Seems so far away but since it is cooling down to mid 80s here ... I know it is getting closer.

It's never too early to start packing! Set a suitcase in the corner & throw stuff at it once in a while.

WL 11/18-11/25 & T-day @ HDDR

Tick tock! :teeth:

We are going 11/19 - 11/24 staying at the Carribean Beach Resort. We are
having traditional Thanksgiving dinner at the Kona Cafe. First trip for us so I have been reading all the great tips here.

Thanks to Dismom+two (my sister) I found this site.

44sun - I agree with the suitcase in the corner. As I think of things I just toss
them in.

As I read about 'must haves' on this board, the suitcase helps to not forget! I still have some of the little Wisk laundry tablets that I heard about here a few years ago, they're in the suitcase ready to go! :cool2:
Ah yes, if you see a family of 4 checking into the WL with 15 suitcases, that'd be us because I start to pack 3 months in advance. :rolleyes1 (not really!)

I have been accused by DH of slightly overpacking when we travel.
Okay so slightly isn't quite the word he would use.

But one never knows when one might need something. My DH says the same thing, too. Oh well, at least if I need it, I have it. :)

We'll be at CSR 11/19-11/25!! Can't wait!! Thanksgiving "lunch" at 50's prime time cafe.. :hourglass

Hi, I am so glad I am not the only one that has started to pack! We will be checking into the WL on 11/16 for three nights and then we are renting points at the BWV for seven nights. We are having Thanksgiving dinner at 1900 Park Fare. I am getting so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NurseJilly, where in Louisiana are ya'll from?

We're checking in at Boardwalk 11/18 thru 11/25!! I'm SOOOOOOO EXCITED!!
Hey three Louisiana DISers in a row! :woohoo:

TigerKat, are ya'll staying in the Boardwalk Inn or at the Boardwalk Villas? We move over to the Boardwalk Villas on Sunday the 19th. We love the Boardwalk! Hopefully next year we will be able to buy a DVC there. The lobby is so pretty, I can't wait to see it decked out for Christmas!

We'll be at Boardwalk Inn for the first time!! I'm so excited, this will be our first time staying at a deluxe. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We fell in love with the Boardwalk last year. I love the location and the atmoshpere. We like the convenience of being able to walk or take the boats to Epcot and MGM . All of the evening happenings are so fun! Well maybe we will see ya'll around the lobby! I'll be listening for Louisiana accents!
