What CROCS did for me!!

Well, I got my Niles in the mail. I'd gotten an 8-9 for my mom, which fit her perfectly (usually a 9 1/2). They were too small on me. I ordered from Sahalie an 9 in blue and a 10 in black. Tough call. I'll wear them around for a while (of course now that I have them we're supposed to get 2-4 inches of snow tomorrow after 83 degrees on Tuesday!) I can really feel the difference. (I usually wear a 10 1/2). The 10's seem really comfy and roomy, but my foot (narrow) is sliding around quite a bit and the strap doesn't seem to do much. The 9's seem too small, but even stretching the strap a little seemed to make them much more comfortable. If I can't get the 9's to work, I'll give them to my mom. If I can get them to work for me, I can always wear the 10's a bit big as people have said about. My beach ones are the L (10-11)'s so even the 10 is smaller than those. We were going to go try to have DH try on a pair this weekend, but I'm not motivated to go out in driving rain/snow so he may have to wait. With my size experience, though, I think he needs to try them on!

Well the DH finally decided he wanted a pair, after watching DD and I walk in comfort and talk about them constantly!!!
The problem we leave tomorrow, so he's out of luck. :confused3
Maybe next time he will listen to me!!! :rotfl:

I finally got my khaki Caymans last week, and love them! I normally wear a 7 1/2 or an 8 shoe, so I got the medium size, and although they're a bit loose, they feel great! So far, no wierd looks or questions from anyone either! :flower:

Has anyone got the lime yet? i am curious about if the color is true lime like it looks in the picture. Also any work from thoses in the know if the highland model will come in better colors?

Dchef, I was wondering if you also had a pair of the knock-off Crocs from Payless? I have both and am noticing a distinct difference.

And I want to send you a HUGE HUG

I went back to REI to get a pr of Navy but they didn't have my size. The guy said that they'd get more in and he said that many nurses wear them as well as hikers. Hikers like them because they can put something cool on after being in boots all day and still get into a creek or somethin if they have to. I told him how I found out about CROCS and he never heard of that reason...I informed him! :) I had gotten the 9's on my green ones and did try on the 8's. The 8's would probably work but I have chronic swelling in my feet so I do need some room to 'expand'. However, even the 8's were big in the toe area. It's hard to judge the sizes...

Awwwe--so sweet! How could I possibly keep it to myself, it was only a matter of time! I don't have the payless knoc offs...I find Crocs pretty much everywhere here in Colorado and readily available, so I haven't needed to stray to the "dark side":charac4:

I bought 2 pairs today......they are going back! been wearing them in the house...not to impressed.

Oh, My Goodness! Just opened todays newpaper, and on page 2 is a 1/8 page ad for CROCS at a local "hip" outdoor store! Now if my son will get off the phone I could call and see what colors they have and I don't. I was a little worried my DH would find out I now have 6 pairs... but then we went to the Harley Davidson shop for ANOTHER T-shirt.. even if he only gets them on sale... I now can compare my shoes to his shirts!?
BTW the store is in Charleston SC and called HalfMoon Outfitters, http://www.halfmoonoutfitters.com/
bet they would mail them to anyone that wants some. Will try and call and find out style/color/sizes. Also 2 local Dillards depatment store had been getting in shipments and have a ton of purple. So if you have one of them call and see, if you are looking for colors.

Funny, when I first saw this post I thought "how did she know???" (My name is Janet too!!!! LOL) and then I saw who did the posting...and had to add my own.

First, they didn't fit me right. I'm a 7.5 and one size was waaaay too big....the other just a bit too small. But they also made my feet sweat!

Don't mean to rain on anyone's parade. But these just didn't work at all for me. :confused3

P.S. 2 days til Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh My, I am SHOCKED:confused3:!!! Not really, I guess I knew that there would be some who didn't care for them--still I am a little "protective" over my miracle shoes...at least they were a miracle for me and that isn't an understatement! Good luck!

Like anything else in life, different things work for different people. I remember when everyone was swearing by the teva's, I tried a pair and hated them. I don't think it's possible to make a shoe that works for everyone. I've always had the best luck with running shoes.

I finally did it, I bought a pair today at a local shoe store!! :pinkbounc I love that they're so light and airy, although I tried them without socks and my feet were sweating something horrid! With socks on they work great though :flower: I leave for WDW on Friday, so I've got 5 days to break them in!

Just had to show off my Pink & Green ones!

I have sage Beach & sage nile - but, these are my FAVORITE! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

We just got home from 4 days in the parks where DD and I made a game of looking for crocs. There were several pair in AK. We saw navy crocs and black crocs getting on the safari, we saw pink with black straps waiting for Primevil Whirl and we saw orange leaving the park.

The thing I don't understand is that we couldn't find a single pair at any of the other parks :confused3 . Any thoughts?

I alternated my kahki beach crocs with my tennis shoes and my feet definitely felt better at the end of the day when I wore the crocs. My only complaint is that the crocs left a blister on the top of one foot. Next time I may wear socks to see if that helps.

I'm off to shop for niles now ..........

Cool. Love the two colors. I haven't seen the two color combination anywhere.
