What CROCS did for me!!

I bought the knock offs at Payless and am wearing them today. I like them comfort wise but my feet feel damp/sweaty. :(

I only put them on for 5 mins last nite and my feet were damp and sweaty, too. I also bought a pair of Keens sandals...my feet are swimming in sweat.

Well, dh decided to keep his too big (imho!!) Crocs. Just wore them out the door to a meeting. Can't wait to hear what the other guys say about his new footwear. Now, I want another pair but a different color...maybe the Niles. Are we loving them as much as the other styles??

Got a call from the Ortho. office today- all the ladies in the back went after work and got beige CROCS at the local Dillards. Now the rest of them are jealous. Thought they called to just brag on them, but it was also to change my DS appt. Wanted to know what other colors we thought would be coming out. I still want multi color ones... blue+green, or black+white, or all the colors like a bad 60's T-shirt, only since they would be CROCS it would be ok.

Oh, this is interesting--what do ya want to bet he just loves the fit of them after a few days--well, maybe I won't bet because I don't know..but from what I do know, there is a good chance he will forget he is wearing them much less that they were bigger at one time--keep us posted! :teeth:

I read this whole thread...and broke down and ordered a lime green pair from Sahalie. ( I figured I need a pair that won't go with anything I own :teeth: )
There are still backordered until Friday, but for a pair that color, I can wait a couple of days.
You read this WHOLE THREAD? :rotfl2: Give this DISer a medal!

I've only warn them in the house for the last 2 days...and granted we've had temps in the 80's (when only 4 days ago nights were in the 30's!!! -- only in NE!) Anyway, they feel a little sweaty to me. Anyone have problems w/ this?

I haven't had any problems when I went to Florida at all, but I know from reading this thread that some people have had a few problem with that. No worries though, they won't smell at all. Hopefully when your feet get used to them maybe it will be better. Personally, comfort would override sweaty feet...but everyone is different too. I hope they get better.

Thanks. I hope you're right. I really am counting on these. The more I wore my teva's the more uncomfortable my right foot became. I was in tears last night just wondering how in the heck I'm going to be able to walk around Disney! :confused3 I'm 40+ and feel like my warranty has expired!

I have worn mine twice to the mall, and all around town. I finally have happy feet!!! :goodvibes I do not have a problem with sweating. The one thing I have noticed is that I do not like wearing my sneakers any more. i have to wear them to the gym though. :guilty:

I have wet feet in a lot of shoes, and in my Highlanders style they do sweat a little. I have not had this problem with the Beach ones, and it has been 86 the last 2 days. They do sweat a little, but dry right up. And I have gotten a few blisters, but only after hours of walking, and I mean lots of hours, up and down hills. However, I had on other shoes for a few days before and think I got the blisters from them. The only shoe I could wear with the blisters were the CROCS.
Dchef, love the tie-dye idea. I wonder if we can paint them? Someone at a craft show painted DR.Shauls(sp,sorry), and they were really cute.
I have been thinking about weaving ribbon in and out of the holes of my Beach CROCS. If I can't find the Lime green ones I have that color ribbon and am going to try it out.
Picking up a pair of baby blue ones tomorrow or Fri. Up to 6 pairs then, need to quit spending the Disney trip money on these things! But I am saving money, since 2 pairs of Teva/Merrills/Rockport would be over $130+, easy! So that means I can buy 5 pairs almost and only spend a little more money... saving on doctor bills and meds!

I've got the same concerns and 40+ and know how you feel. I'm at the upper end, pushing the 50 mark.

Oh I will be 42 this year and have a daughter turning 21:scared1:Scary the thought of it all!! I am hoping for an "Extended Warrenty" I should get that after paying the price of twins so late in life!

Tomorrow I will post a picture of my Crocs having a play date!!:rotfl2: Since it could very well be raining, I have laundry to do and DD is:sick: in bed with a cold. I won't be going out I don't think.

Dchef--the queen of late night editting sessions with myself!!!:confused3:

The twins are just too cute! After 10 yrs of trying, we have our miracle ds12 and lost 5 after him. I desperatly need an 'extended warranty'.....Yikes! You are still a youngin'. ;)

Well, I finally got a pair of Crocs. I bought a pair of purple ones in size small. I normally wear a 7 1/2 - 8, but the mediums were to large. I noticed on the Crocs website that they were selling them at Von Maur, so I was able to go and try them on! I want a pair of khaki ones, but they didn't have that color.

I go to the mall today, wearing my new purple Crocs of course, and pass a shoe store called Sole Outdoors. They had a display of Crocs! I went inside to see if they had any in khaki, but they didn't.

The best part is, the salesman told me they were starting to get very popular. He said there was some Disney board on the internet that was even talking about them! I said, that's where I heard about them! :rotfl:
