What CROCS did for me!!

OK, I have both here at home w/ me.

The official Beach Crocs are slightly small on me. They fit ok on the foot bed (no length to spare so I don't know if I could ever wear socks) but the strap pushes my toes into the shoe. Have to wear w/out the strap or stretch it if I decide to keep them. Seem comfortable but I'm not too thrilled about the toe being at the end.

The knock-offs seem to run slightly longer. (I almost opted for a size 6!) The 7's fit great and I can wear them w/ the strap around my heal. Good thing, as w/out it, they don't stay on my feet as well as the strapless crocs. They feel pretty comfortable....but will they do the job????

Please let me know if you've been pleased w/ your knock-offs! (Or not)
Thank you!!!! We go to Disney in a week!

I finally gave in and bought a pair today! I had been walking around the mall for a couple of hours, and my feet were hurting, and then there they were in a display in the front of the store! Now to see if they're as comfy as everyone says!

100 pounds ? ? ? Well honey, you better hope CROCS makes a pair of shoes with extra weights in the sole to hold you down in high winds! ::yes::

Thanks again for sharing about CROCS. I really do love mine, with and without socks. Here's some pixie dust coming to you! :flower:

:rotfl: I can only dream!

Okay, I'm now officially addicted to my crocs. Have hardly taken them off and have found myself buying lots of khaki colored clothes to match my crocs. I'm gonna have to break down and buy some more colors before my entire wardrobe is absorbed by the color beige. This is from a woman who lived in Steve Madden heels. Yikes. I had intended to buy them strictly for our upcoming trip to WDW (thanks to this thread) but must admit that once I put them on in the store that first day, I've all but given up my shoe collection.
Has anyone else become a crocs preacher? (besides you Dchef? :wave2: ). I find myself selling them to friends, coworkers....even complete strangers. I'm like a croc Hari Krishna and I can't help myself. I swear I was in line at Dunkin Donuts the other day and a guy remarked that my shoes looked comfortable and I went into a whole promotion thing for Crocs. I think everyone in line around us was committed to buying a pair.
Damn, I'm enjoying these shoes....!! :lovestruc

I am doing the same thing! Let just one person ask about my shoes and off I go!! :rotfl:
My feet have never been so happy!!!!! :cloud9:

OK I broke down and ordered a pair of Crocs. They are on their way and I should be a Croc owner on Friday. Only time will tell. :cool1:

OMG, I could have pee'd my pants on that Hari Krishna statement. Its so true though--Crocs brings people together!

Yep, thinking of becoming a rep.for the company, if only for a volume discount! Wore them into the Ortho. appt for my DS yesterday and all 7 of the office staff tried them on, and within 5 min were on the web site! Then they were calling all the local stores to see what color/sizes they had! I am up to 5 pairs, including the YELLOW ones, and I look like death warmed over in yellow, so I have nothing to wear with them. Good thing I could justify them 'cause the local High School colors are green and yellow! Please, God, don't let the school board realine the schools and my son would be going to a different HS! I would have to buy either a new house, or more CROCS. Humm...
You know I could win either way. My DS,13, is totally embarassed by all this. And my take is that I don't care what color they are as long as they fit!
So CROCS'ers of the world unite! Carn't wait for new colors/sizes/styles. Anyone know what is coming...and looks like we could start a whole new board just for these shoes.

I have a wide foot. Do they run wide? I see they only come in one width.

I have wide feet too--I didn't have any problem buying my stated size. They do seem to run wide, plus they're flexible, so it's not like they'll pinch.

BTW - I got mine at Hallmark, of all places! What an odd place to sell shoes!

All of this talk and I think I may have to go buy me a pair.. no only do they sell them at my local Halmark store but i have a 30% off cupon for them making them $20.00.. what more could a girl ask for (other them for them to look a little sleaker)

I read this whole thread...and broke down and ordered a lime green pair from Sahalie. ( I figured I need a pair that won't go with anything I own :teeth: )
There are still backordered until Friday, but for a pair that color, I can wait a couple of days.

Well, my dd, 11, and I have been so happy with ours that my dh just had to have some. I told him I would order him some. could he wait?? No, not a chance. Yesterday the FedEx guy dropped off a box from Crocs. Dh had ordered them himself. Problem?? He wears a 10 1/2, so he got an 11. Of course they are waaaay too big for him. Told him to wait but no, he had to do it himself. And, when he called for return instructions, he finds out they are completely out of stock. He is not a happy camper.

ROFLMAO! I did the same thing at work. And believe me...I am known as the company germaphobe. Yet...I had no problem letting 5 other women try on my Crocs. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: .

That'll teach him. Now make sure you flaunt your supercomfy crocs at every possible moment. And make lots of sighing noises when you put them on whenever he's looking. :snooty:

Lime green Crocs. Perfect for a DIS'er! They'll match your lime green ribbon when you hit the parks. Let us know how you like them once they come in....

I just got my new crocs in! Have to say I kinda like them. Very comfy! Just to let you know the lg just fit. I have big ol feet! :teeth: I the Beach stlye(only style in stock) in pink and light blue. I am kind of worried about the material, do they last very long or do they wear down easily?

Ok, ladies.. here's an update from me :)

I own 2 pairs of the Payless knock-off Crocs. They are great. Nice fitting and comfy.

At the end of last week, I ordered an original pair (in butter) from the CROC website. They were delivered to me today and they are already on my feet :sunny:

Now, here is what I have to say about my experience.

1) Dealing with the CROC website was swift and efficient.

2) The original CROCS are a wee bit more cushiony than the Payless Airwalks. I can feel a slightly thicker padding under my feet with each step.

3) I ordered "butter" but am not truly happy with the color. I expected the shoes to be close to the CROC website color (a creamier color). I asked my Mom what color she thought my shoes were and she said "yellow". I think so too. They are not crayola yellow, but definitely yellow (imo).

Just wanted to pass this along ~ :goodvibes

I guess I will never be wearing Crocs. I ordered Niles from the website on 3/30, called in to check status and the girl said she needed to change the size to a whole size since they were phasing out the S, M, L deal. OK would have been nice to get a call but it's all good right?

Called again last week just to see ETA since people have reported getting them at Sahalie and was told they were in stock, no reason to have not shipped yet.

As of today, still not shipped so I cancelled. Way too much bother to try a pair of shoes
