I Guess I am lucky that I live in Alberta and I can go to the trade show in Calgary this weekend that is selling them
I am so happy cause shipping from the US to Canada is rediculous (sp?)
I was able to talk to the distibuter and there is a small factory in Saskatchewan
The price of the shoes at the trade show are 29.99 cdn

Well if I like my Cayman they are coming to TO in August for a trade show. Perhaps I will have to track them down and buy another pair.

Ok I did it. I ordered a black pair of nile ones just a few min ago. I have been looking around here, and even called the local REI and they didn't "think" they had them. Well with 2 kids I don't have time to check out every local boating store, hallmark and what not so I gave in and ordered it on line today. I got it form the website since not many others have the nile.

I think scran said she was a 6 1/2 too (my size) and the small fit her so I ordered that. Hope they work. We leave for WDW in 3 weeks and never bring brand new shoes there. (they need to be broken in some 1st.)

I will let you know when I get them. My husband is going to think they are nuts.

Warning!!

1- Comcast (I found out thru the Community Board here at the Dis!! ) is having problems letting us on!! Nationwide according to the thread over there - I had to reading the thread , cause its not just me!! Dh now knows I"m nuts!!

2. For all those new to crocs, I'll give you a word of warning - just like when you get orthotics from the poditrist, you shouldnt over due wearing crocs, even tho they feel too good to be true, try not to wear them more than one or two hours the first day, etc... Like today, I was on my feet most of the day at school, subbing for a 4th grade class, then came home, ran here, ran there with errands, didnt take my crocs off till 9:30 pm, my feet needed a rest, but, I have to say the bone spur/.... hurts worse with out the crocs, but my feet do need a break!! Hope that makes sense!!

Just a question... Is the footbed (sole?) of each shoe the same? In other words, do they have the same heel cup and arch support?

If you ordered the small from the website you'll need to call them and have them change that to a whole size. When I called to check on my order Wed she said they did not have the nile in the sm, med, lg anymore, only whole sizes so she changed it in their system. This should help any hold ups aside from being on back order.

Zappos is always free shipping, both ways. That's why I love them....you can return ANYthing, as long as it's in new condition. I've noticed that they sometimes boost the price a little higher than other sites, though...I guess to make up for the free shipping. But it's almost always upgraded to express...worth the extra, I say! Zappos.com! Now, if only they'd carry all the CROCS styles....

Returning the butter yellow (not banana, sorry, eeyore!) Crocs today, have them all packaged up and ready to ship. Like so many people have noticed, sizes are really erratic. I got the Caymans from one site (crocs.com) in navy, size 9M/11W, and the Butter, size 9M/11W from comfortableshoes.com, both stamped Made in Canada, but the Butter is at least a full size larger than the navy! Go figure. Yes, both Caymans. Anyway, as time goes on, I'm really getting to love these shoes. I also have a pair of Highlands in khaki, which I don't love as well, because they have no holes, and my feet get HOT! Guess I'd rather have chilly, dirty feet than sweaty feet.

Did anyone else notice on the Sahalie website that they listed coral as a color?

Is that a new color, or are they just glorifying orange? Because if I expected coral and the orange came, I would be very surprised. They are very, very, orange. (But I love them).

I just wish the Cayman came in more colors.

You did luck out. I'm having such a hard time with my order from Crocs. I originally placed my order on 03/07 -- got the confirmation, got the "your order has been shipped" email, but I have yet to receive my order. (I also ordered the white Niles.) I've sent two emails and called twice (got voicemail and left messages), and haven't gotten a response. It's not really a big deal, as my card hasn't been charged yet. But, I wanted them for my upcoming trip, so I want to go out and see if I can find them at a retailer in my area. However, I'm afraid that once I go out and buy them, my order will come.
I'm in Croc limbo...

If so, just check on the fedex website and check on the delivery.

Nope, there was no tracking # -- I guess it's more of a detailed receipt. It has a ship date of 03/07/05 via Fed Ex Express Saver but no tracking. I guess that's when they planned on shipping it out, but then my style got backordered.
I left a message that if they didn't anticipate my style being in stock by the beginning of May I wanted to just cancel my order, but I never heard back, so I don't know if it is cancelled or not.

I haven't been on here in a while because we have had a very busy school year but I saw this thread and just had to post!
I bought a pair of bright pink beach crocs right after christmas. My husbands response was this: " Your not going to wear them IN PUBLIC are you?"
"I said of course not, they're ugly." His reply to that was, "you're not telling me anything I don't already know."

fast forward about 2 weeks........ 2 weeks of peoples head snapping as I walked by in the store or at my kids schools and I forgot to take them off one evening before he got home.
Well maybe I implied that I wouldn't wear them OUT IN PUBLIC, but what I meant was that I wouldn't wear them out in public WHEN I WAS WITH HIM!

His comment was an "Oh Jeez" and a chuckle because COME ON, he knows me better than that. I have a bad back and have spent the last 10 years almost exclusively in birkenstocks! I gave up on shoe fashion long ago.
I have been wearing my crocs since January and love them.

I bought a pair of size small but wear an 8, 81/2 shoe size.39 in birks. My feet are very wide- square even, (think Fred Flintstone)
These shoes are great and I think I have started a trend in my little town. Suddenly I am see people of all ages in them.

The very best part of this story is the end.
