What creatures did your kids like to watch when they were younger

and do/did those creatures get on your nerves?

My dd loved Barney. My ds love TeleTubbies. Both Barney (and all his friends) and the TeleTubbies got on my nerves.

I remember having to watch Sesame Street and I Love Lucy when I was little. Luckily we didn't have all these stations kids have nowadays.

DS used to love Mr. Rogers and Oprah! Didn't care for "creatures" My niece was crazy about Barney which after awhile sent my sister over the edge

DS used to like Sesame Street only to see Elmo, Bert and Ernie, and the Count. He didn't like the rest. I did okay with that, but now he's driving me crazy with Sponge Bob and the Rugrats. I hear that music and I head for another room.

When I was a kid it was Romper Room, Birthday House, and The Bananna Splits! I'm sure it didn't drive my mom crazy. LOL!

My son liked the purple guy , Sesame Street and the Puzzle Place. Later on, he liked Rugrats (me too ) and Blue's Clues. Nowadays he likes Spongebob (that voice! ) and some of the Disney shows like House of Mouse. I like Bear in the Big Blue House.

I can handle the Rugrats, but Sponge Bob gives me nightmares. My ds loves that creature too.

Mine liked the purple thing too. also Sesame Steet. My DD who will be 14 likes to watch Blues Clues, but only when Steve is on. She hates Joe. I think it's a hoot to see her watch. My DS who is 12 LOVES Stanley. He also likes Franklin.

DS (17) loved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I'm glad I don't have to endure Sponge Bob - no cable but DH did download some.

I have to admit I like Rugrats

Momof2OH - my DD doesn't like Joe either she only like Blue's Clues when Steve was on. Now it's Dragon Tales and 7 Little Monsters.
