what crazy food combination.....

I had some Putine (I think that's how it's spelled) when I was in Vancouver in March. YUM! Fries with gravy and cheese curds. Sounds gross but is awesome.

Also, my fave "weird food" is egg yolks beaten with sugar. delicious!

As a child, I would mix ketchup with tarter sauce to eat my fish.

DD loves to dip her chicken nuggets in her frosty at Wendy's. I love pb and bacon. Yummy! Salty sweet combo!

My kids love Wendy's french fries dipped in their frosty. I must admit I love it too. :thumbsup2

Smashed up saltine crackers in a bowl with milk on them...yum!
My grandmother used to do this too!
My fave thing is cream cheese and strawberry jelly on toast
A friend eats butter and jimmy (chocolate ice cr sprinkles) sandwiches. The first time I saw it I thought she was eating black ants! :rotfl:

For some reason I think I used to do this when I was a child.... but I think we used oyster crackers, not saltines.

French fries and mayo, mac & cheese and ketchup, M&M's and popcorn. I dip pizza in sour cream.
My brother used to eat peanut butter & mustard sandwiches. Yuck!

These are DH's fav's, NOT mine.

Take tuna fish, add mayo and mustard, enough so that it's a tad bit soupy. Put mustard on one piece of bread and grape jelly on the other piece of bread. Spread the tuna on and enjoy. :crazy2:

The other fav is fried bologna. And just like the tuna, you put mustard on one side and grape jelly on the other. :crazy2:

And since I am such a loving, good wife, I'll make the stupid things for him, but I refuse to sit in the same room with him and watch him eat.

And you should hear all the grief I get for eating saurkraut. Gezz, at least mine only smells bad, his just plain, flat out looks gross.

I don't know if this is southern or not, but growing up we would take a half of a pear, the kind from a can, put mayo on it and sprinkle it with chedder cheese. I loved it. Still do to this day.

Wow, after some of these combos, mine seems pretty tame :rotfl2: pickle relish in mashed potatoes :thumbsup2

I'm a female Alton Brown(to some) so I've cooked up a few oddball combos, how about onions on any sandwhich or burger

The sweetpea has a strange one that she just loves and wants everyone to love as well. She likes her cheese quesadillas with sliced pickles in them. Then she dips it in ranch dressing. She is always trying to get me to try a taste and have a polite bite. No way, Yuck!

DH likes to put molasses on bread and washes it down with molasses and milk.

After reading this thread, I realized that alot of my favorite foods would probably classify as "odd". In college, I used to eat saltines with a dollop of barbeque sauce and dill pickle/miracle whip (never mayo!) sandwiches made on swirly rye bread.

Nowadays, I love a good spaghetti sandwich - take leftover spaghetti with just a modest coating of sauce that's been heated up in the microwave (so it gets really hot) and put it between two slices of squishy white bread. If I'm feeling really crazy, I'll slap on a slice of American Cheese or I'll put it in the sandwich maker so the outside gets crispy and toasty.

For a light snack, nothing beats romaine lettuce dunked in plain yogurt. Again, if I'm feeling crazy, I'll dunk corn chips in the yogurt.

I must've gotten this gene from my mom who loves a good peanut butter and pickle sandwich.
