What Coupons are you using....

Yesterday, I went shopping and got free Lipton Green Tea (1.5 liter bottle) using a coupon printed at checkout on a prior trip. I had $5 in "$X off your next order" that was printed on a prior trip. It paid for the kitchen bags that I needed to buy (which, incidentally, had a 55¢ off coupon attached to the box). I always check the coupons that print out at the checkout to see if I can get anything for free or almost free on a future visit.

I got a free bag of Purina One dog food using a coupon that I got by calling their 1-800 number and requesting it. I'd have to say that I get the best coupons from contacting the manufacturers. Anytime that I've had a problem with a product, customer service reps almost always send me free coupons so that I'll continue to use them.

I also got a 10 oz. bottle of Teryaki sauce for 79¢ because it was on sale and I had a 35¢ off coupon that got doubled. I try to match sale items that I use with coupons that I've clipped. It's not uncommon for an item to go on sale within a week or two of the coupon appearing in my Sunday paper. The grocery stores in this area are very competitve and almost all of them offer double coupons all of the time.

And, I am not above "buying" coupons if there are some good ones out there for items I purchase often. There are actually websites out there that will send you coupons for a fee. The cost is less than the face value of the coupon, and with doubling it still saves me a nice bit of cash.

I have looked at a couple of sites. Can you tell me which ones you use? Is there any that I should stay away from? Thanks for the help.

I love coupon clippers and coupon master-thecouponmaster.com :woohoo:

When i find a week with really good newspaper coupons i always order my faves Sunday am. A whole nother paper would be $2 and i can get 10 to 20 coupons for just a bit more- and they are just the ones i like. They are also fast, so if you see a sale on mon. you can usually get the coupons before the item is off sale.

it depends... but usually just 10 to 20 cents each- sometimes they are more, but then the discount is better. The soliel razors-free coupons were $1 ea.
but then i got my razor free, so it was still almost $6.00 off.:rotfl:

I like to use the $1 Johnson's buddy coupons for free soap. ($0.99 at CVS)
$.50 French's gets mustard free at Kroger (doubled)
$.50 Frank's hot sauce at Kroger (doubled)

Free 2 litre bottle of 7 Up found in the 5-21 USA Today
2 free 20 oz bottles of Coke found in 5-25 USA Today.

We have eaten at Fazoli's and Quizno's for free courtesy of USA Today. It is rare that they have coupons, but when they do, it is worthwhile.

Also used the 15.00 Pepsi/Frito lay rebate coupons at Meijer last week for 4 cases op pepsi/ 3 2 litre bottles, and 3 bags of chips for nothing.

Had the free razor too, along with tons of free dog food.

:goodvibes To get Free or Cheap Items?:goodvibes

I would like to know please
Thanks:cool1:

this week, I used a coupon to get free razors. I have no idea what the brand name was, LOL. I also was able to get 12-packs of diet coke for $2 each (which isn't free or cheap, really... but it was a good deal). Let me see, what else did I get good deals on... much not have been much else, I can't remember!
