You know what I mean. Commercials that grate on you nerves.

Discount double check ..discount double check UGH!

15 minutes uggghh!

I also dislike commercials that are trying to be mini-movies. We don't need CGI fake and staged selling Doritos!!!

And career revivals! What a fall from a place of grace sometimes! Boys ii men singing about Cheerios! Nick lachey talking about twix bars... The list is endless!!! (Those are just the ones that come to mind)...

I can pretty much tune out commercials when they come on. But there was one (thankfully, can't remember the product) that I would hit the mute button, or change channels everytime it came on.

" Who are you talking too? It's Jake from State Farm. State Farm?? At 3 AM?" It was cute at first, but, it has been on for years now and it wasn't that worthwhile to begin with. The truth is Who buys car insurance at 3 AM unless your drunk and just ran into a utility pole?

There's a Swiffer commercial right now and the actress has a line .. The rain, the mud..her accent on mud makes me want to run from the room.

I can not stand that girl that sings "Rapture" in her car not knowing that her co workers can hear her through her phone. Just something about the way she tosses her head around that makes me want to hit her with a shovel:crazy2:

There was a commercial for Hershey's chocolate syrup in the 80's that still haunts me. A little girl gets up in the middle of the night to make a glass of chocolate milk and brings her white teddy bear with her. She puts the milk away, turns back around, the glass is empty and the bear has a chocolate mustache on his face. Then she says.....*deep breath*....."Errrrrnnnniiieee! Next time, Ernie, just ask!" The sound of that kid's shrill, piercing voice has rung in my ears for decades. Just thinking about it makes me want to hurt something.

When a TV show starts to fade to commercial, I press the mute button, followed by the menu button which puts the broadcast real small into the corner of the screen. I usually look over the TV menu selections while waiting for commercials to be over. A quick press of exit and volume buttons to get back to the TV program. My annoyance is reduced to almost nothing.

A case on Judge Judy today. Guy claims he was the designated driver, but sideswipes cars going in reverse. Incident was at 214am. Claims he had insurance and offers proof. Policy said it was purchased and effective at 249am.

Don't even get me started!

The SAM ad, where the woman is saying "I want SAM in my pants..." to the other woman. No. Just no...

ASPCA. I can't handle them! I end up all teary-eyed by the end of it.

The new Shick "Trim - Style" commercial - Not appropriate.

The Tena commercial "Let Yourself Go" where the woman shrieks in the car to a song, and the lady in the theater who cackles like a witch... I hate it!!!

Yikes... I have a long list of commercials that I hate, and I'm sure I can think of more! LOL

Liberty Mutual Insurance, any one. Mesothelioma law suits. Marie for Nutrisystem. Extenze. And finally, Cialis or Viagra.....call your doctor if 4 hours....WHY!!!!!! I would be ecstatic!

Mute button isn't enough for the anti-smoking/tobacco use commercials the government sponsors that feature the people who have sustained physical damage as a result.... Those get the "last channel" button. Also a local dentist exhibits poor taste with what he displays in his commercials, not to mention he looks like a corpse himself.

That isn't Boyz to Men, it is Naturally 7, who tour with Michael Buble.

Too many to mention. TIVO is our friend; I get a fiendish delight in fast-forwarding through the garbage. Twenty minutes out of every hour is advertising. Talk about overkill. And yes, I realize the advertisers pay for the shows.

I've been watching the NBA Playoffs on TNT. For whatever reason, there seems to be ads for some online dating site called "Farmers Only". And yes it's a site primarily to match women to men who work on farms. The spot that shows up the most starts with some farmer (from the Lonely Acres ranch) walking into some rural bar asking "where are all the country girls?" When the bartender hands over his smart phone, a group of women (some in cowboy boots) suddenly appear and finish the ad singing their jingle. The ad itself is pretty tame, but jingle is just cringe inducing and I'm wondering how they managed to get a dozen women to simultaneously lip sync to that jingle without cracking up. I heard ads on TNT are part of some BINGO game.

That and the Game of War commercials with Kate Upton. I mean she hot and everything, but that voice and the way she talks is just so freaking annoying. I'm wondering who thought she could act, and why didn't someone think of hiring a voice actress.
