What commercials make you cry? (inspired by snoopy)

So now that we all know what songs make us cry..are there any of you out there that cry at commercials? Or am I just way too overly emotional?
There are several commercials that make me cry.

The ones that come to mind right now are a series of Master Card commercials with the lost dog, Badger. He has to travel across the country to find his family. When he finally got home I sat there bawling. My husband thinks I'm insane.

Not that I bawl, but the one for... hmmm, funny, I don't remember... for... something... where the kid is asking his dad to talk to him or whatever and his dad just kind of ignores him, and rushes out to go to work (I feel so bad for this kid!) but the dad was just rushing so he could pretent-race his son, who's on his bike, down the street. (The dad goes really slow in the car...ringing any bells?). It might be for a car, but I don't recall.


edited to add: the little pre-show of Honey I Shrunk the Audience, with the dog (Buddy?) did make me BAWL majorly!! Wow that was sad!

When I was pregnant with my dd the coffee one at Christmas time "Peter! You're home!" always got me. Does anybody remember that one?

I think of this commercial every Christmas! It always choked me up.

There was one about a dad who goes on a business trip. He's all alone on the plane. . .he's all alone in a restaurant. . .he's all alone in his hotel room. He sits on his hotel bed and kind of just stares out into space: you can tell he's sad. Then he unpacks his suitcase and pulls out a Pooh Bear (I think)! A huge smile comes across his face. . .it was put there by his little boy.

Man, that one really caught ME by surprise . . .

I can't think of any that make me cry now, but when I was pregnant and hormonal (a long time ago), there was a commercial that I think was for Johnson's Baby wash that had a person singing "take good care of my baby" that made me cry.

Most of the WDW commercials make me cry b/c I want to be there!!! Except the "little souvenier" commercial.....that was too funny.

Featuring the kid who was in "The Rookie"???? I loved that commercial...absolutely adorable!! Seeing the dad jerking his steering whell pretending to be racing his kid on the bike...I thought it was cute.

can't think of any commercials that have made me cry...at least not at the moment.

I cry at the drop of a hat. The one that's getting me lately is the diamond commercial where the guy screams "I LOVE THIS WOMAN!!!" and then hands her a huge rock. She hugs him and whispers "I love this man" in his ear. Gets me every time.

That American Plastics commercial where the older woman is receiving chemo or something through a plastic catheter into her head and there's the flashbacks to when she was young and just married, etc. *sniff sniff* Could someone hand me a tissue please?

I'm getting weepy just reading this post! LOL I dont remember exactly how it goes now - but the one that makes me cry is a Hallmark commercial. There is a little kid and a mom and a little lonely old lady is across the street. The little kid and the mom get her a card and sneak it over and put it in her mail box. Then the little old lady goes to check the mail (mean while the mom and kid are peeking out the window) she pulls out the card reads it and it so touched by it she starts to cry. That one just pulls on my heartstrings and gets me every time.

I liked that line of Johnson & Johnson's commercials.
I think I remember the words:

Take good care of my baby.
Be just as kind as you can be.
And won't you please remember
To treat her soft and tender
Because my baby
Belongs to me.

I think I remember the words to the other versions of that commercial. The 2 other songs were "You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby" and "Make Me Your Baby". I've always been able to memorize certain commercials . . .

Yup, this one gets to me too. It's just so sweet.

I also get teary at the one, it's a car commerical where the man slams on the brakes so he won't hit a Mama deer, then out of the bushes comes the baby deer, then they both run across the road, and the man is watching them. For some reason, it just gets to me every time.

The other dog commercial that gets me teary cause it's just so sweet is the Master Card commercial, "life with a dog: priceless"
The last scene with the dog playing in the sheets is just so adorable!

OMG.. I couldn't stand to watch those commercials about Badger because it made me all weepy I am just a sucker for a dog commercial!!

Hallmark has some tear jerkers. Of course I get subject to them a lot because we get previews of them at work before they hit the tv.

One that got to me was a Christmas one a couple of years back with this little boy who would always sing a duet of a carol with his big brother. Well, his big brother wasn't there because he was in the military or college or something (I forget) and while the little boy is singing by himself all sad, his big brother comes home as a surprise and walks up behind him and starts singing...sniff.. sniff...

Okay, tissue please!!

The one with Peter you're home boy that was a killer since that is my son's name AND he was away at school at that time. Of course the "Badger" commercials thank God I read this my huband always thinks I am nuts at that one(of course I cried so hard in My Dog Skip that my son changed his seat).

I am just surprised that no one has mentioned the Verizon commercial where the background music is "I will always love you" and the mom is taking her son to college and then she is thinking back on all the milestones that they have experienced since he was born. That is a killer.

Ihave to say the Hallmark commercials used to make me cry but now they are just so contrived that they actually tick me off.

Forgot this one... it was a Disney commercial and I think the tag line was ...."they grow up to fast" and the jist of it was take them to Disney when they are little . It is a little fuzzy but ...the kids are playing.. also the one where the grown up son is trying to convince his parents to take him along on their WDW trip and the Mom says something to the effect that he needs to be with his wife and kids. I know it was meant to be funny and it was till I thought about it.
