What color?

I am replacing the carpet with a wood pero laminate floor in my office. It is off the kitchen and the kitchen is a brown in color. What color would look nice for my office. It is not a huge room and has one window.

So is your kitchen floor Pergo too? Is brown the floor color? or the wall color? Is the office painted? I tend toward lighter floors but you don't want to go from dark brown to light if the flooring is the same.

Med oak wood laminate will be the floor in the office, the same as the kitchen. The kitchen walls are spanish brown.

How bold are you?
Personally I would be picking an orange color- pumkiny probably. Warm color but that is what I am comfortable with.

With that lighter brown color in the kitchen you have basically every choice.

The color wheel is helpful in thinking do I want to blend with my kitchen- then stay near the colors right next to your kitchen. Do I want to be bolder- pick the exact opposite side of the wheel. It will be complimentary that way.

My DH was thinking a gold color. We are updating our house. We are becoming more bold for colors.
