What color was your baby's nursery?

Since my daughter (14months) and son due any day now will be sharing a very large nursery together, we needed a gender friendly theme so we picked the pop monkey nursery setup from babies r us. We painted the top half of the wall a m,atching green with the bottom being brown. We then installed a white chair rail to match all of the trim. It looks so cute.

I have 3 kids, and didn't find out the sex in advance for any of them. The nursery room was kept beige, but we had some friends of ours come in and paint an underwater scene on one entire wall. Then I accessorized with all sorts of ocean and fish things--including the bedding. With the girls, I used pink or white crib sheets, and Wesley usually had blue. The mural stayed thru 2DDS and DS, and then we moved when DS was 3.

Everything was white and there were touches of light blue and pink in the accessories.

DD7's was a light sage green. My mom hand-painted a chair rail of light pink & purple butterflies all the way around the room. It grew with her until we moved out last year....wish we could've brought it with us. I hear the new people left it up for their DD6.

HA! Lazy parents here... our nursery is the same color as our living room and most of the rest of our house. I'm not about to paint a nursery pink or purple just for my daughter to decide she wants a green or yellow or blue room in six or seven years. We hate to paint!!!

There isn't a pink thing in my nursery...
