What color is your powder room?

Mine is electric lime.:)

It has a mickey sink. http://www.amazon.com/Kohler-Mickeys-Wish-Design-Bathroom/dp/B0000B0S5F

And custom Mickey paintings! ( MY GF is an artist). I also havs a mickey mirror that I got years ago in DTD!

Very cute! I bet it looks greatI'd never have the guts to do it myself (well, maybe if I had the $$ to change that bowl out if I needed to sell/got tired of it).

Of course, I'm one to speak, you can change that bowl if you ever wanted to, I have a hidden mickey on the exterior of this house that'll be there until doomsday! :rotfl:

Love the electric lime--sounds like a great bathroom!

Mine is "Fairy Godmother blue" and the accessories and wallpaper border is red & white striped lighthouses. Some of my walls are also textures wallpaper that is solid white. When I moved in, being a true house of the 70's it had harvest gold tub & toilet, a kinda beige/tan walls with an accent wall wallpaperd with an off white background with dark brown flocked scroll work pattern. That was the first room we changed. It went to a light blue, with a white wallpaper with a discreet gold and light blue patterned stripe in it (to pull in the harvest gold fixtures). A couple years ago we switched it out to the bright blue and lighthouses (inspired by the lighthouse at the pool at OKW)

Mine is a color called "millet," which is what the whole house is right now. I moved in a month ago and have been way too busy to consider painting yet, but I'll probably do a room or two eventually to spice things up. As for the millet, picture french vanilla ice cream but just a touch more yellow. It's nice and neutral and goes with everything.

I just decided this morning that I was going to paint both 1/2 baths in our new home. I'm looking for something fun! This thread is just what I needed!

My dining room will be red, dark red, and the rest of the downstairs will probably be a tan/neutral. That's what it is currently...not sure we need to change it. Would it be weird to paint the powder room orange or yellow...with the other rooms just neutral?

The other powder room is upstairs, among the kid bedrooms. I might paint each wall a different color :) or something kinda crazy.

Our walls are textured, so its not easy to do stripes or anything, unfortunately.

Thanks! We are not tired of it yet (its been about 6 years) and we often talk that when we put the house for sale that bathroom is being redone because it all (except for the toliet and lights) are coming with us!

(We will have to paint the enire house anyway. I love color. My Mother just shakes her head and mutters "well its your house":rotfl:!)

I don't have a powder room, unfortunately.

I have three full baths. The one my guests use is my "youngest's bathroom" (but off the hallway, not his bedroom). The walls are a creamy yellow, almost beige. Accent colors are bright blue and bright green. My oldest son's bathroom walls are a greyish taupe (brown and tan accents) and the master bath's walls are light grey with fern green and chocolate accents.

We just redid our half bath. We gave it an outdoors hunting theme for my DH. I painted it a sage green and then did a wallpaper border of deer in the mountains. The toilet paper holder, soap dispenser and light switches look like deer antlers. I also changed the old light fixture to one that is a rubbed bronze color and added a new bath cabinet.

It looks so much better than the plain white bath it was previously.

1/2 bath downstairs......My favorite color! PINK!!!

My half bath is apple green and espresso. I re-did it last year and I'm very happy with the results.

One is "beige" (yeah there is some fancy schmancy name for it from... Sherwinn Williams, but I forget it :rotfl2:) with red and brown accents...one is beige with green and brown accents and thirdly.....you guessed it, ....the third one is beige :lmao: with whatever seasonal color works (Its a half bath and I just change out the towels and pail and wreath )...but I have to say, I really do like my "beige" :rotfl2:

Love it! I would have to paint mine that color when DH was at work though. He would never go for it. :confused3

Luckily mine couldn't care less what color I paint anything! LOL!

Mine is navy blue. The molding and pedestal sink (and the toilet, of course) are white. I added a dark-ish red rug and light house pictures. Love it!

Mine is Sherwin Williams ancestral gold, but it's not really gold, more yellow with green undertones.

I just redid mine.

The walls are a chocolate color. For accents, it's a spa blue.

I love it.

Ours is Paprika. I didn't think I'd like it until I saw it on the walls. It is really nice.

I don't really have "powder room" (is that like a half bath or something?), but do have two bathrooms. Our downstairs is painted Restoration Hardware's silver sage. Our upstairs bathroom is being renovated next month and we are using Restoration Hardware's blue sage.

That reminds me of my mom's reaction to the color of my bathroom in my last apartment. It was hot pink. Not neon pink, just kind of like if you took the color "raspberry" and lightened it up a bit and added a touch more pink. I loved it, but it was definitely loud. My mom's comment was, "...Well, I guess that'd wake you up in the morning!"

Love it! That's close to the color my bathroom was...mine was a little redder, but definitely bright pink. I loved it. And if any of my male friends made snide comments about it, I just told them that if they didn't like it, they could feel free to wander down the street and pee at the Texaco.
