Ours is red brick with mocha trim and dark brown shutters. The brick has some taupe and brown tones in it as well.

Our neighbors just painted their house taupe with cream trim and black shutters. It looks fabulous! Very classy.

Jeafl: Not that I don't like the sound of your house (I LOVE brick!), but I really like the sound of the color combination of your neighbor's house!! I was thinking along those lines as well, I've seen them on houses around here, and I love that classy/classic look :) What color is their door? I have a beautiful, beveled glass, full length storm door, so you can full view of my front door, so I want a nice contrast color. Do they have it painted the cream color??? One thing I just don't like is a black door, which I have seen on some colors, but it's not a color I like on doors...so...even with the taupe house, cream trim, and black shutters, I'd need to paint the door at least the cream color, if not a different color. Hmmm...would introducing a different color be too much, I wonder...???? Maybe a mocha colored door that would go with the taupe and cream?? See this is why I need ideas :p

We have a patriotic house....white two-story home with dark blue shutters and a barn red front door.....and yellow ribbons tied around our trees.;)

Seaspray, their front door is a glossy black with a brushed nickel door knocker and kickplate. It looks great!

We have a red brick house with creamy, tan trim and a navy blue door. It's a nice combination, if I do say so myself.

Ours is a light blue-gray with black shutters and door :) This house has been this color since I was a kid and I love it :)

The garage doors and trim are Bethany Beige (Home Depot), and the roof is Morocco Red. I forget the color of the building itself.

Richard on his bike he got for his birthday last year. :teeth:

Ours is a Chicago brick look-a-like with Adobe Sand (cream) trim and a Forest Green door. The painter who painted our house said that the front door color should be chosen like a woman chooses lipstick, something that stands out but compliments the face.
