What clothes would you bring in March?

Inspired by the February thread, does it ever stay cold into March at WDW???

We were thinking it would be fairly warm. I was planning on packing lightweight hooded jackets, but "summer" clothes otherwise.

What do you think?

We were there for a quick trip in March, 2000. It got chilly at night - I was ok with my denim shirt, but just barely. During the day, it was warm but not hot. I found it very comfortable. I wore lightweight clothes and it worked well. I would bring one pair of long slacks just in case and a lightweight jacket. And keep an eye on the weather the weeks prior to your trip.

We were there the last few days of Feb/first week of March this year. When we landed in Orlando--it was just as cold as when we'd left Michigan--like 35 degrees! The next day was chilly, too, but after that it warmed up into the 80's. WDW made a killing on sweatshirts that first day. EVERYBODY was buying them.

So, basically, bring warm weather clothes and cool weather clothes! Sorry--I know it's a pain in the patootie to pack for that.

I was afraid of that!!! When you're packing for 5 people it is tough to be prepared for everything.

I guess it almost depends on what time of March you go. We've been there many times during the last week of March and I don't recall it ever being "cold" or "chilly." We wore shorts most of the time. The kids wore their jackets or a sweatshirt at night but it wasn't every night. Primarily, if we were by the water (like Fantasmic) it was cooler. We actually found the weather quite warm and enjoyable.

We were there Mar 10 - 21 this year and the first night and the next full day were a little chilly. We wore jeans the first day, but then it warmed up and we wore shorts the rest of the trip. Even the evenings were very nice and we were able to swim everyday. I typically try to pack a jackets, and then shirts that will go with shorts or capri type pants, and a couple of pair of jeans in case it really gets cold.
