What christmas candle are you burning?

Well it is the Yankee Candle Pine, but it sure smells like cat pidddle. Very stinky.

I was burning YC Christmas Cookie, but it ran out so now I'm burning Mistletoe.

I also have a YC scented oil plug-in that currently has Balsam and Cedar. I had a Cranberry Peppermint one once, but I didn't really like it. It kinda smelled like cough syrup to me.

I've been going back & forth between Yankee Christmas Eve (same as Sugared Plums they just changed the color & the name) and Home for the Holidays.

I work for Yankee & we do get some returns on the pine scents because people associate them with cat urine! It's the acidity in the pine oils - it really does have a likeness to the acidity in cat urnie. If you ever walk through certain types of pine forests you get the same likeness as well. Sad but true!

Semi Annual Clearance has begun online today & in stores tomorrow. Large jars are $15 or 2/$25, medium jars are $12 or 2/$20. Small jars are $5. All holiday home fragranceing & accessories are also on clearance.

I am burning a candle from a local company.

It is "Santa's Cider" from Warm Glow Candles. One of my daycare kiddos gave it to me as a gift and it smells yummy. It is a fruity/mulled spice smell.

I've got a cinnamon clove one in the kitchen. I forget the brand. It's not Yankee. Being a preschool teacher, I get a TON of candles as gifts! I have enough to keep me going for a looooooonnnnnggg time!

Tara, can you trade a candle that you received as a gift, without a receipt?? I've gotten many scents over the years that I don't care for, but I never thought to try to exchange them. I like the spicey and fruit scents, but not the pine/florals.

Bath & Body Works scent "Winter". I wait all year for it to come out. It is awesome and I love that my whole house smells like it through Christmas.
