what "cheap" stuff at the dollar store did you buy

A pop-up clothes hamper! It's so much nicer than just putting my dirty clothes in an empty plastic bag.

Do you have kids?
I do the TinkerBell thing for the kids at night. If they behave during the day then Tinkerbell visits during the night and leaves goodies-things I pick up from Dollar Store plus confetti-the Pixie Dusti.
poncho
crayons
Gold coins
bubbles
window cling ons to decorate at resort
clear Disney school pencil bags (I carry tickets and money in these)

I just bought a cinderella night light at the dollar store ..its amazing!! They also had all the other princess's
I got a bag that says "dirty laundry" on it to keep out dirty clothes. Poncho's and an umbrella. Anything you want to bring but dont really care about remembering to bring home

Every Dollar Store has different stuff and you can't count on what you want to be in stock. Having said that, here's what I've found in ours:

Giant Pen with Cinderella or Pooh for autograph book
Go Diego flip flops
Disney Body stickers and tatoos
coloring books
items for scrapbooking when we get back
Those posters for coloring in between the velvet(includes markers)
Disney key chains
Disney shoe laces

I'm doing a Tink theme for dd and Pirates for my 2 ds'. Everything I found crayons, markers, sticker books, stickers, note pads with pen, and I found cute princess glittery body markers. I seem to find alot of Disney items at Dollar Tree. I've seen jump ropes, soinning tops, night lights, foam puzzles, regular puzzles and coloring books. If you see something you think you might want but it because it most likely won't be there when you go back.

I just got back from there - I've made my list in my head thus far:

toothpaste
shampoo
conditioner
soap
suntan lotion/sunblock
laundry soap
lotion

gotta love the 99 cent store!!

We have a dollar tree here, and I got:

Rain ponchos...pack of 2 for $1
Piglet and Princess light up pins...$1
Pop up hamper....$1
Glow sticks, bracelets etc......$1
Mickey color books and crayons...$1 each
Sunscreen and aloe from Panama Jack...$1

A few more things I cant remember. The dollar Tree is AWESOME!

Looks like a trip to the dollar store this week! I picked up some Disney yo-yo's and jump ropes at Michael's a couple of weeks ago for a dollar each. Plus they had a container of glow bracelets for a dollar. We are driving so I will be handing these out along the way down. I figure on the way back they can play with some of they souvenirs they will buy.

I stop at the Dollar Tree before every Disney trip. Last time I got:
-glow sticks
-glow necklaces/bracelets
-poncho's
-Tink christmas window clings for decorating our room window

<3 DT!!

I picked up some Disney washcloths at my dollar store. There the ones that are like "magic towels", where they're all pressed up into a shape in the package, and when you take them out, just put them in water and they become a wash cloth.

Also, a few months ago, my dollar store had some Mickey straws and packages of forks, knives and spoons that I picked up. I also found some square boxes of tissue in different Disney characters.

I love the dollar store!!!

Sorry to jump in, but is there a $ store near disney? This sounds my sort of shop. We have £ stores in the UK but haven't seen alot of Disney bits in them yet.
Thanks

Ours doesn't have the pop up hampers. Bummer! But I did find good hangers to dry our suits on and LOTS of glow bracelets & necklaces for the kiddos as well as coloring books, etc.

i went to walmart the other day and headed over to the travel size section and picked up:

shampoo
conditioner
toothpaste
hairspray
and toothbrush head covers :)

I picked up the glow sticks, a few a the pooh light pins for the kids lanyards (bummer they ran out this year) ponchos, laundry hamper, and someone else on the board mention an over the door shoe holder to put the bathroon stuff in (toothbrushes, hair brushes, barettes) I will try that this year. this was a little more than a dollar but our local Big Lots store had Mickey wipe off books for around 2.50. I thought that would be good for my 2year old at TS restaurants while we wait for food.

The over the door shoe holder or the one on a hanger work great. Especially if your in the value resorts. Not a lot of counter space or storage. Just hang it right there in the closet. We loved it.

Glow Sticks definitely!
Activity books
Toothbrush holders
I haev to admit we bought ponchos there one year and we were just as wet as if we didn't buy them, won't buy them again at the dollar store

Ponchos and Disney stickers!

I will be looking for a pop up hamper before my next trip!
