Who is we? Daughter & Son? Just daughter? That may make a difference? And their age! There are so many good character meals. Chef Mickey's is my favorite for dinner. Then there is the princess breakfast Akershus at EPCOT. My favorite breakfast is Donald's (Tusker House) at Animal Kingdom! :thumbsup2

Sorry, kinda left out the "we" part.

It will be myself, DH and DD who will be almost 2 when it's time for our trip.

Chef Mickeys (Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald) for breakfast and Akershus (a variety of princesses) for dinner. :thumbsup2

We went to CP breakfast and CM dinner last summer with our almost 2 year old daughter. These were both great choices.

We also went to Akershus breakfast and really liked that one as well. However, I would recommend the others because you can't beat CP's location and the characters at CM are not to be missed.

Good luck! They are all great I am sure.

CP is also a good choice if you think your DD would enjoy the Pooh characters over the princesses. However, I would do both the CP and CM breakfasts. We personally don't like the dinner food at either restaurant (which is why I origionally suggested Akershus for dinner). The food is either undercooked, overcooked, greasey, fatty, bland, or is cold (when it should be hot). Breakfasts at both CP and CM are much better than their dinners. :thumbsup2

I highly recommend Tusker House for breakfast. We think it has the best breakfast buffet and the best character interaction. Its Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and I think Minnie. For dinner I would do Chef Mickey's. Its very loud, and rushed but the fab 5 characters are there. The food is fine, nothing too great, but a good selection.

I think you can't go wrong. Personally I enjoyed Cape May Cafe's breakfast. Minnie, pluto, goofy, donald, I think (not mickey) and all in beachwear. The food was excellent. Lots of choices and delicious OJ that kept coming!

I thought Crystal Palace was good at lunch. The character interaction was great and our 2yo loved it.

Family style dinner at Garden Grill (mickey, chip and dale, and either goofy or pluto, I think all in farmer gear) in Epcot is also great! The nice thing about it is that you don't have to get up for the buffet line. Nice for when dining with a little one.

I haven't been to Chef Mickey's in over 10 years but I remember liking the breakfast.

Just keep in mind that at a buffet, you are getting generally buffet quality food. I think of it as slightly better than my local old country buffet or such, not 4 or 5 star dining. I go for the characters and a full stomach and then let myself be pleasantly surprised by some of the offerings. Then I always leave happy. :)

I agree with Chef Mickeys and Akershus - but I would avoid Akershus for dinner.

I would pick For Breakfast Cape May or Ohana's-being Ohana is family style which is very nice with little ones. CP for Lunch we love CP lunch it is a nice break while at MK.

We did the crystal palace for brunch and it was fun! Our bus driver told us to do chef mickey but we couldn't get a reservation!

Crystal Palace for breakfast, Chef Mickey's for dinner. And, if you book Crystal Palace before the park opens, you get a chance to get some nice shots of DD in front of the castle with little to no people.

Enjoy!!!

I really like Crystal Palace for both lunch and dinner (Winnie the Pooh & friends). I also really like Akershus. I've been for lunch a few times, and it always seems much less hectic and more relaxed than many other character meals.

My kids loved Tusker House for breakfast.

We were not impressed with Chef Mickey's for dinner, though we had gotten several recommends to eat there...we won't be eating there again.

If your daughter is a princess nut you really need to do CRT for breakfast. It includes a photo and everything...very girly!!

Our favorites are Askershus for breakfast and 1900 park fare for dinner

Tusker House for breakfast and Chef Mickey's for dinner...

But then, you are seeing the same characters. If your goal is DIFFERENT characters, I'd say Akershus breakfast and Chef Mickey's dinner. :) Akershus also includes a photo with Belle in the price.

I would recommend Crystal Palace at 8:05 a.m. on a non-EMH day for breakfast, and Chef Mickey's for dinner on another day. We have been to Crystal Palace several times at opening, and the food and ambience has always been stellar. I know Chef Mickey's get's a bad rap, but we tend to schedule buffets for opening time. We had dinner at Chef Mickey's at 5:00 p.m. and found the buffet to be fresh and satisfying. The restaurants listed will offer access to Pooh and gang, as well as the Fab 5! (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald.) Enjoy!

We did Chef Mickey's for breakfast. We're not big breakfast eaters, and IMO, most of the breakfast buffets offer similar items.

We also did Crystal Palace, but it was for lunch. We loved it! Great food and the interaction with Pooh and friends was wonderful!
