Hi! I am a huge WDW nut and have never been to Disneyland until now!!! I'm going in March but for only 3 days and on the third day would love to do a character breakfast! We are two adult girls, no kids. What might be the best bet for us?? I was thinking resort, but both will have access to a theme park if need be. I can NOT WAIT!!!! Robin:cheer2:

well best food is story tellers. best charcters is plaza inn. most fun is goofys. an well if you want princess go to ariels.

Our family likes GK, have never been impressed with the others, but from what I understand the others change a bit each year so we may have to give them a try again. Right now I also understand GK is being remodeled so I wonder if the buffet will change also.

We did not enjoy GK at all, our experience was quite negative actually.

We enjoyed the bfast at AG but we found the food to be lacking. They serve you family style, eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, potatoes, and a 3 tiered tray with various pastries, breads, speads, for our family it just wasn't that great. We much prefer lunch or dinner (same menu but with lunch you get Princesses, with dinner you get WoC passes) over the bfast at AG.

We enjoyed the Lilo & Stitch bfast but it isn't there anymore, it's now Surf's Up! with Mickey & Friends and we have not dined there.

We really enjoyed Minnie & Friends the most, it's IN DL and for us had the best food choices and most characters. It's the one that I will suggest to anyone. :)

We did two last month, so I will share my experience.

We went to Minnies and Friends Breakfast at the Plaza Inn on a Magic Mornings Day. It reminded me of going to CRT before park opening. I just love walking down a deserted Main Street.

The Plaza Inn reminds me of CP. It's on the other side of Main Street, but around the hub. There are outdoor and indoor seating. I asked to be indoors because it was chilly and I didn't want to leave my kids outside while I did buffet runs.

The buffet was fine, the standard fare. Mickey waffles, french toast, pastries, and fruit are in the center section. There is a line for hot items and another item for cereal, etc. I was suprised that we had to get our own drinks at Minnies. The only real table service we got was our plates cleared.

I could not believe how MANY characters came to the tables. They all took time and interacted with everyone. There were several instances where multiple characters were near and were happy to take pictures together. We had over a dozen different characters visit our table...Chip, Dale, Pluto, Briar Fox, Briar Rabbit, Captain Hook, Rafiki, Eeyore, Tigger, Honest John (had to look him up afterward :) ), Fairy Godmother, Minnie...that's who I can remember.

The character interaction was the best of any character meal we have ever done. And we have done ALL the meals at WDW....Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Faire, Tusker House, etc.

The next day we had brunch at Goofy's Kitchen. Since this was supposed to be a higher level of experience we were super excited to go. The character that greets you is different throughout the day. We saw Pluto and Baloo taking pictures. We got Baloo! We thought it was the start of more "rare" characters. Wrong. We got to our table and Goofy came along quickly. We were happy to see that our server did drink orders, but soon learned that we wished we got get our own since we never saw him again. Someone else came to take plates, but we never got any refills.

Pluto, Chip, and Dale soon followed Goofy. The interaction seemed more rushed than Minnie, but understandable because this place seemed more popular. Then we had a 30+ minute drought between characters before Goofy came by again. I did a walk through our section and saw Jasmine and Aladdin making their way through. We waited an additional 20 minutes to meet them and decided to go since we didn't see any other characters on the horizon.

The food had much more variety at GK, but the quality seemed the same. This was a brunch, so they had salads, pizzas, and desserts. And a higher price tag, plus this was holiday season and it made for one expensive meal.

We are going in two weeks and made plans to return to Minnies. If you like CP, I think you will have a good experience here. It gets my vote. :goodvibes

The thing that surprised me how they make you pay your meals before you get seated. This created a small line at Minnies, but Goofy's took awhile to get processed, photographed, and seated.

We like Storyteller's and Plaza Inn the best. Storyteller's food is the best but at the Plaza Inn there are more characters.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the insight!! I've been flip flopping between Storytellers and Goofys, such hard decisions!

We did Goofy's last month, it was just ok. We saw 5 characters, goofy, pluto, baloo, chip and aurora. There was no fun interaction except for chip and aurora, the rest just came by, signed and barely wanted to take a pic. Food was just ok too. I was disappointed. We really felt rushed to, getting our food and making sure we weren't going to miss someone, but there wasn't really anyone to miss. And the parts where there is dancing or goofy play's cooking is so crowded for the kids, not all can see or get close enough to participate. Next time we want to try minnie and friends.

I'm sure whatever you decide will be fun!!

I have done Goofy's 3 times over 3 years and I am not that crazy about it. It was OK not that many characters and the food was not that great. I plan to try another one out next time.

I did the "Surfs up with Mickey and Friends" at Paradise Pier Hotel and the character breakfast at Storytellers and I thought the food at Storytellers was better than Mickey and Friends but the characater interaction and the characters available were better at Mickey and Friends. Storytellers had Chip and Dale and the other had Mickey, Daisy Duck, Pluto and Minnie.

Good to know as we've been wanting to the new Mickey's.

I thought Mickey's was very fun! You don't get that crowding issue that you see with GK when the kids went up to dance and pretend to surf. It was very cute. We saw Stitch, Mickey, Minnie and Dale as I recall. Food was fine. Minnie's has the most characters for sure.

I found GK to be really fun for our family. We were in the first seating and Jasmine and Baloo took tons of time with my child. Jasmine even sat on the floor with her and pretended they were on a magic carpet. She was just wonderful! I think that many experiences are going to come down to that. Hitting the right cast members who will give you that pixie dust moment. You don't know where those moments will come, in the parks, on the rides or at the character meals. Just try to look for them and not focus too much on making the "perfect" choice.:wizard:

We (2 adults, no kids) did Minnie's at the Plaza and loved it. We felt there was plenty of food to choose from and it was all very good. It's a buffet, so it's all self serve. I think DH went up and got a new plate three or four times, lol. We sat outside, which was really cool and very pretty. Plenty of characters, nice interaction. We plan to go again if we get another chance to visit DL.
