What changes would you make to Studios or IoA?

Having just returned I couldn't help but think the right side of the park needs some attention, right round from the start of Central Park until Fear Factor Live.

I know E.T is a "classic" ride and that The Simpsons is fun & Men in Black has some serious repeat riders, but I just felt it was one one area of the park we visited the least in our 2 weeks.

I think I would keep MiB but maybe give it a refurbishment/update and I do think that the area covering Springfield/the Pet stars arena/E.T/Playpark could be replaced. It's quite a large area and could therefore be used for someone large - maybe a Ministry of Magic with a ride based on the elevator system they have.

Potter certainly seems to be a big selling point for the parks - or maybe build that where the Fear Factor Live arena is a turn Springfield into someone more Classic Universal?

I know we have Epic Universe on the way, maybe once that opens it will give bosses a chance to revamp this area of Studios.

Would any one else change anything in either park?

I would totally replace kidzone with a great play area and a fun family dark ride. Perhaps themed to Trolls?

In IOA, I'd add a family dark ride to that theatre building over between Toon Lagoon and Marvel.

I did wonder about that theatre, what has it been used for? Nothing on there at all while we were there.

The theater is used for Fear Factor currently. For HHN it's been used for different shows. Before that it was used for a Wild West show.

That being said, FF does need to go. Either something more relevant, or just take it out entirely and used it for a Potter based attraction.

KidZone should go for something DreamWorks related. As they already have a lot of those properties are in the nighttime show they have going on currently. While it's not my thing it's definitely a lot of other's and I respect that. However, keep ET. While I wish it was refurbed somehow and given TLC I know that's not going to happen, but I want it to stay. It's the only OG left.

As for IoA, I am conflicted about Poseidon's Fury. I like the nostalgic feel, the special effects, and while it's cheesy, I like the originality of it all and want it to stay a little bit. However, at the same time, it's the only non-IP left in the park and feels out of place since almost all of the attractions in that area were converted to HP, or closed.

Also, I feel like a lot of the QS places can be updated when it comes to food. Not necessarily an attraction, or restaurant theming update, but the update to Monster's Cafe menu is really great and I wished a lot of the QS could get a little bit of an update. Like Cafe 4 for one example. However, we now got Green Eggs and Ham again which is something!

Lost continent overhaul for sure. Currently it's basically a walkway to get to Hogsmeade (with the exception of occasionally stopping to talk to the fountain, or to dine at Mythos).

Would love if the previously rumored re-theme to Nintendo's Legend of Zelda came to fruition. I could die happy if they did that.

The arena I was asking about was the one between Superhero Island and Comics. It's opp the game stalls - brown building in IoA.

The theatre I was referring to is between Marvel and Toon Lagoon. Every once in a while there is some production of some kind in there but most of the time it is empty. It seems to be a large portion of land that could be reappropriated.

Yeah, I only remember one thing being there when I first was going to the parks. It was Ellen, or Rosie, something like that. When I keep looking I keep coming up with things essentially describing it as what it essentially is, a place for temporary shows.

However, looking on Wiki I found this. It seems to be the only thing I could find so far that describes what it was originally:
Over in Toon Lagoon, the island's show arena has hosted numerous presentations. Originally, it featured a live show, named Pandemonium Cartoon Circus, with the various cartoon characters of Toon Lagoon. It was replaced in 2002 by a BMX stunt show, Mat Hoffman's Freakin Crazy Stunt Show. It was the home studio of NBC's iVillage Live television show until June 29, 2007. In March 2010, a show titled Mat Hoffman's Aggro Circus featuring BMX bike tricks started.

Biggest changes I feel are needed would be to USO.
First I'd take out Fear Factor and replace it with a Ministry of Magic ride. I'd make it a trackless dark ride themed to the Department of Mysteries.
Next would be to change Shrek 4D. It really needs taken out. I'd probably put in a new Minion dark ride in it's spot to go with the ride across from it, or else could do a port of the Secret Life of Pets ride. Make it two floors and it could extend over to the space of the Monster Cafe next door. I like it but it's kind of on its own and doesn't really go anywhere and have a new Monsters area seemingly going into Epic Universe. (If they wanted to go very budget conscious at least do the new Dreamworks theatre that Hollywood got to give it an update at least.
Lastly, I'd convert the kids zone into something new. Demolish it all and build it up with a new IP. Either something Dreamworks like a Kungfu Panda or Shrek land or even another Nintendo IP like Pokemon or Kirby/Animal Crossing.

The main thing for IOA would be something in the area of the mostly unused theatre. If i had my dream choice it'd be to put a miniland themed to space IPs for Nintendo and do a Star Fox ride, possibly a flight simulator, and then a big trackless dark rid themed to Metroid.
