What Cereal Company Are You Loyal To?

What cereal company are you most loyal to?

  • Kellog's (You can't go wrong with a company that makes Disney cereal)

  • Post (Cocoa Pebbles ... Need I say more?)

  • General Mills (I'm afraid the Lucky Charms Leprechaun will stalk me if I eat another cereal)

  • Quaker (Wholesome old man goodness)

  • Generic (Yeah, I'm cheap...what's it to ya)

  • Other (Please Specify)

I find myself always looking at Kellog's Cereals. I rarely buy other brands. This came to mind today as we bought the new reduced sugar Frosted Flakes & Fruit Loops to try.

I'm not loyal to one particular brand as it varies on what we like - we buy some shop brands, Kelloggs and Weetabix.

I don't really pay attention to the brand name. If I like it, I'll buy it - especially if it's on sale.

I wouldn't say I'm loyal to any particular brand. I prefer the varieties made by Kellogg's. My kids will eat Cherrios and almost anything else, so if there is a good sale, that is the brand that I buy.

I don't think I have ever noticed the brand of cereals. The kids always pick them out and they choose the prettiest box, and they always eat what they choose. Right now, we have Shrek cereal, Disney princess cereal and Apple jacks. Right off hand, I can't tell you who puts them out.

Never been loyal to any brand - but I tend to buy Kellogg's now because it counts for upromise points.

I'm not loyal to one cereal company, but I'm loyal to one toaster pastry company...Publix! :) Hahaha! I prefer their brand of Pop Tarts over the real Pop Tarts.

Probably Quaker (you know, that 'old man godness', LOL) with their oatmeal and grits, and Kellogg's, many of theirs. However, lowcarbing since mid last year, none of the above. I did find a great low-carb granola from RhondaS last year, and do have that several times a week.

I buy General Mills because of "Boxtops for Education". Our school has several contest each year for all the kids to bring in their boxtops and you'd be amazed how fast they add up. This year alone we've received over $3000. Not bad for something that would just get thrown in the trash (or hopefully recycled).

Malt O Meal :)

We go through alot of cereal here so its the big ol bags for us- I prefer alot of their cereals to the "real" versions

But I am a sucker for Life Cereal though :)

My first loyalty is to my pocketbook/wallet.

If generic is cheapest, then generic it is. If Kellogg's is cheapest, then Kellogg's it is. (Ya get the idea.
 )

However..... if it's basically a "tie" (within 25 cents/box), then I go for the "name brand". If shopping at a Kroger, I get $$ for my DS's Upromise accounts for Kellogg's cereals. If it's General Mills cereal, there's the "Box Tops for Education".

Sound confusing? That's why I like going grocery shopping by myself!

I buy based on price mostly. I buy the large bags of generic Cheerios and have for years. For myself I alternate between Quaker Crunchy Corn bran, Special K vanilla almond, or Go Lean (all low points on WW). But we eat cold cereal less than once a week around here because it is so pricey. And my kids are not allowed to have sugar cereal on a regular basis. When we go on vacation in the summer they are each allowed to pick one box of cereal (usually Capt. Crunch, Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs). So I guess my breakfast loyalty is to my pocketbook and our health!....P

I don't buy a lot of cereal, there's only a few that my kids will eat: Cheerios (including Honey Nut), Frosted Flakes, Reese's Puffs, and Chex.. I believe they are all General Mills, except the Frosted Flakes!

I was always a General Mills fan. Got to love those box tops for education! My mom did the betty crocker points too. In fact, my first (and only) china set as well as my first set of silverware came from betty crocker points.

But now that I'm counting carbs, I buy very little cereal. It's eggs in the morning for me now!
