Was hired as a part time bookkeeping assistant for a Real Estate/Property Management Co. (but work more like full-time hours, LOL). Keep the books for 30 different apartment buildings/condo/townhouse associations. That means 30 different CHECKBOOKS, and more than 1500 rent or maintenance fee checks to deposit at the beginning of each month, UGH...but I really do enjoy my job
I don't think I fit into any category either. I graduated from Baylor in Spring 2002, and am currently looking into and applying to several graduate programs. I'm also looking for a job until (hopefully) grad school starts. If I don't get in I might try a stint with the Peace Corps.
I (allegedly) work full time in a company that provides IT support and developement to other companies.
I say "allegedly" because a lot of the work in my department has been moved to India and (although still fully paid) I'm on 'gardening leave', which means that I still do the occassional analysis/project leading job, etc. but I can come and go as I please!
There's a lot of change occurring at the moment, including enforced outsourcing - I'll update you all when the situation is clearer, but there's about 25 really hacked off people working in my department at the moment!!!
