I just love the lime flavored candy with the salt around the rim in Mexico! :rotfl2:

doesn't that get a little messy when you put it in your pocket for later ??? ;)

I don't remember the name, but they are caramels covered in Chocolate and you get them in Norway. I think the package is brown & orange. They are yummy!
Yes! These are to die for.

You have to go to England for the cadburys chocolate!
We were missing it when we were there last year and went for a little fix of nice english chocolate there,

Not sure if they have 'double deckers' there - but they are SO NICE!

Germany has a candy shop- they sell white chocolate Toblerones! YUM! They only have milk chocolate that I've seen here.

Denver has both White and Milk...if you need me to send you any let me know.....lol

Heaven help me, I need to get to Epcot a whole lot sooner than 2010. ;) Yum. Thanks for helping me clean out my keyboard with all the drool!! :rotfl:

Being that Dh and I live in Canada and have both British parents that came to this country about 35 years ago we have had lots and lots of british chocolate sent to us or all the times we have been to the british import stores. :cool1: However Buttons are incredibly hard to find here in Canada, when Marks and Spencers was still in Canada we could get thier version but the cadbury buttons are my personal favorite. So we go into the store in the UK pavillion and get out treat and sit out on a bench by the twinnings house and I feel like Im 5 again with my buttons. Also curly wurlys are fun too. DH is a Flakey fan.

Think Im going to go to the British import store now, since Feb is still a long way away till we are at WDW

My MIL used to work for the UK Cadbury when she was growing up in England, and she says it's soooo much better than then Cadbury here in the states. She said once a week they'd let the workers take home some of the "broken" chocolates... it was her mom's favorite day of the week, lol!

We enjoy the candy bars from Norway, they are called DAIM. They are a really hard caramel (crunchy, not soft and chewy) covered in cocolate. We get some every trip. Yum!

I didn't know they sell the Chocolate advent calendars in Germany! Which store? My grandmother visited Germany several times when I was a kid and she always brought these back for us. I always look for them, but I have never found them.

I also wish they would sell the chocolate eggs with toys in them. My grandmother used to bring these back from Germany as well when I was little. I believe they are called Kinder eggs. I look for them every trip in Epcot, but haven't found them yet.

In Germany last trip, we bought the gummi bears and Milka chocolate bar, which was very good. A little disappointed to find that they had the exact same things at our local Super Walmart for a fraction of the cost (we even checked the label and where it was manufactured/packaged, and exactly the same).

In London, I remember you could buy a soft serve ice cream from a truck on the street and they'd stick a Cadbury Flake into it. I need to try getting hold of a soft serve ice cream at Epcot somewhere.

It's traditionally called a 'whippy' or a 99 (because it costs 99 pence). Disney would be wise to introduce it. You can get a variety of flavours now!

Oh my goodness! I had no idea World Showcase was so "sweet"! 10 days and counting for my trip! I couldn't wait before, but man, now I REALLY can't wait! :cake: :mickeybar

I love the Haribo gummies at Germany- mmmm!!! DH and DD are both chocoholics, and they tried a chocolate bar from Germany that had black pepper in it- they both liked it. I am not such a chocolate lover, but I took a bite- :crazy2: !! IMO, chocolate and black pepper aren't a wonderful combo.

Gotta love the Haribo gummy bears from Germany.

I hear there is a yummy candy in Norway that I plan on trying during our next trip.

I used to work for a Japanese company so I've tried many of the treats that I see available at the store in Japan. I can't say I ever tried one that I liked.

There are cinnamon-laced chocolate bars in Italy that are fantastic! I highly recommend the chocolate in Italy.

Love this thread! I can't wait to try some of these recommendations!

Well Kari's a big Haribo fan, so we buy like three packages each time we go. Although the gummies are not from Germany, but from Spain. The company originated in Germany, but the ones made outside aren't as good, they seem a bit tougher.
Kari can still get her fix here though, I found a German store that sells everything Haribo, and it's all imported from Germany, so none of the fake stuff.

Last trip kari promised me a funnel cake with a scoop of ice cream on top. I hope we can afford it this trip. I can't wait to try it, it always smell so yummy.

 I love you. Each and every one of you :rotfl:

This is a great thread!! I am surpried to learn about Cadbury. This is my favorite. Last week, I ate three of the large Fruit & Nut bars and now to learn that the "real" Cadbury from UK is even better. I will need an extra suitcase just to bring it home!

We used to eat Aero bars all the time in Upstate NY. I guess we were close enought to Canada, eh? ;)

Anyone know if there are Pengui bars anywhere? They aren't really a candy bar, but.... I have NO idea how to explain them.

They are by the same company as "the little eggs with toys in them" (Kinder).

Can't wait to try all these suggestions!
