Despite 8 WDW vacations in the past 4 yrs we've never been to DQ (DD8, DW, & "The Pup"). This year we're planning on getting PAP, so we thought we might check out DQ. What can we expect?

Games lots of games ( Some oldschool ) .
Some Virtual stuff.
Some interactive stuff.

Lots of fun DD12 now looks forward to going every trip .When we Bought DVC at SSR she said across from DQ sweet.

FUN, FUN, FUN is to be expected! We went for the first time in September and DQ became an instant favorite for everybody in the family (we ranged in age from my DD5 to my MIL).

There was just something about playing Pac-Man "free" for hours on end. I had a good time learning to draw Pluto (I did an awful job!).

Our biggest mistake was not getting to DQ earlier in the day. We did get there by 5:00 or so, but it wasn't long before the crowd started arriving. I'd say go right after lunch and make a day out of it.

How do the lines work with these "classic" games? In most arcades, you're done when your quarters run out. Can you really sit at the same game for hours, or what?

DQ...Disney Quest located at Downtown Disney Westside

PAP...Premium Annual Passport-includes admission for 1 year to the four theme parks, both water parks, and Disney Quest.

We went during the last week of September. We took a day to shop and do DQ. We got to DQ about 3:00 and there were NO lines. Of course, it got a bit more crowded as the evening progressed.

So, to answer your question based on my one time experience - Lines were not an issue, therefore, we did play the same game over, and over, and over...

Also, just when I thought I'd seen all there was to see at DQ, I'd go around a corner, and BAM! another gameroom. There's just so much to do!

My boys loved it when we were there. We went twice, once for just a couple of hours and then another time for an entire afternoon right after lunch. The great thing is that if your kids are older and you get sensory overload, you can step out and do some shopping at Downtown Disney while they stay and continue the fun.
