Can you bring bottled water with you into the parks? How about snacks?

We have 3 boys and will bring a small backpack with us into the parks if they will let us bring bottled water and snacks.

Thanks,

Dave

Yes, yes yes! We pack snacks and water all the time. Just no glass containers. Also, if you need refills or cold water, go to any counter service in any park and ask for an ice water - it's free!!!! We do this and pour it into our empty water bottles to keep us going.

while it's not easy to do, I carry my wife and 4 kids into the park, that way I only need one AP.

:rotfl:

And I thought we were crazy for "checking in" our kids so DH and I could fly first class for the price of 4 coach tickets. Ooops, sorry OT.

ANYWHO....

RE: snacks and water. We still have a child in a stroller so we place a small cooler in the bottom and fill it with water and snacks. This has always been checked by security and we have never been denied access.

People pack in lunches. Disney doesn't have a "no outside food" rule in their parks.

They will not let you carry in alcohol. And, of course, things like guns, knives, fireworks are not permitted. You can't bring anything in that pulls behind you (a rolling cooler, a wagon for the kids). You can't bring in wheels (like rollerblades or skateboards - Heelies are against the rules but the rule is seldom enforced). Pets are not permitted (of course, service animals are).

You cannot wear a Universal Studios shirt. ;-)

I did not know that! And all this time I've been shelling out $3 for a bottle. Thanks!:goodvibes

No Universal Studios shirt? Oops!!! What about Sea World?:lmao:

The tradeoff is that carrying water gets heavy.

We usually only carry one bottle of water for each of us then when it is empty refill from water fountains throughout the park. We also have a clear shoulder bag that we carry to the parks. That way we do not have to empty our bags they just glance through the bag and we are on our way. We have taken all types of snack food into the park. The only issue we had was when DS had a glass bottle in the bag and I did not realize it. That was a no go o/w common sense items are no problem getting in with.

I was at WDW last week and was amazed at all the rolling coolers. They are a pain everyone was tripping over them in the crowd. And I watched some stuff them on rides . Saw CM's give them looks but no one said anything that I saw. They all seemed to be the same size about 12" sq cubes.
So not only was I whacked by over filled backpacks I was run over with wheeled coolers.
