Ok second question!!

we are staying at AKV for one night only in November, Kidani. I just wanted to experience staying in disney at least once. We will have done the parks and stuff in the two weeks prior to staying, this is a surprise for the kids (and me)

If we get to the property around 10am what can we do? what should we do while we are only here for such a short time? so far I have made a note of:-

bead activities - do these run all the time, how long does it take to get a necklace of beads?

uwanja camp -ds will just love this.

and swimming - thought we would try a pool each day?

also If we are staying in kidani, is the sunset trail the best one to see all the big animals? (not sure why I thought there might be big cats walking round, probably getting the real africa mixed up with disney!!)

any help with planning would be fantastic

no big cats walking around! Some ankole cattle, giraffe, zebra, few other things...but nothing scary!

They give you a list at check in of the week's activities (ie bead making, cookie decorating, etc). They are only specific times and days for the activities.

The pools are both great.

If I remember correctly there are 1-2 bead activiies each day so with a 1 night stay you could get up to 4 done- 2 the day you check in and 2 the day you check out.
