There is lots of things to do. We always go to Downtown Disney. Lots of shopping and I love just walking around looking at everything.

I also like to go to the other resorts and just taking it all in. There is a story teller at Animal Kingdom that is awesome.

There's putt-putt, and what my kids really love, pool time.

You could go to the Fort Wilderness Campground. They have pony rides for $5, a playground, you can eat at Crockett's. In the evening, they have Chip & Dale Campfire sing along, followed by a Disney movie at the outdoor movie theater...all for free. They have a hay ride in the evening, Mickey's backyard Barbeque. Hoopdy Doo Review, rent one of many different size boats at the Settlement marina. Play on the beach. At about 9 p.m. the elctric boat parade is on Bay Lake at Fort Wilderness Campground. After that, you can see and hear Wishes fireworks from the beachfront at the campground.

All these things will be great fun to you and your little ones.

We do a late Char breakfast on our off days, we love Cape May for that.

If you have a car my kids always have to go to Gatorland! It is a must every trip.

I agree with heading over to Fort Wilderness or DTD

Are you doing a waterpark?

It also depends on where you are staying. When we're at the Boardwalk area, we walk around there. Also, we like Downtown Disney for shopping and especially something good to eat! We don't ever leave WDW - I find that we just love it there. Checking out another resort, walking around, then maybe getting a cocktail and having a bite to eat had been fun for us as well. Sometimes it's lead us to book that resort the next time!

I love the ideas at Ft. Wilderness - never done those!

Just relaxing at your resort is fun. In January, it may be chilly, so swimming time may be limited or nonexistent (it can really vary!), and I would not really plan a waterpark day in January also.

We actually go to a theme park every day, even if it's only for two hours or so. We don't go all day ever (too much for my son).

WOW!! I had no idea about all the things that can be done at Ft Wilderness.

Thanks for all the ideas. The DIS truly rocks!!!:cool1:

Pools, Stores (window shop), explore the other resorts with Disney Transportation, watch a Disney Movie, run over to one of the beaches, etc, etc, etc...

Probably not going to do any water parks. But I think the Boardwalk and all the things that can be done at FW campgrounds is going to be good or this trip:thumbsup2

OT- My DH is dying to take the kids there! Tell me if I have to worry about the kids being hurt there. I know, I know, overprotective Mom here but the thought of tons of gators looking at us like we are lunch irks me.:laughing:

OP- I would spend some time in DTD and then just relax at the resort. Some down time is always nice.
