What can u tell me about the Hilton at DTD?

I know it's the only DTD hotel that has the Extra magic hours avail. Will u still feel like you're at Disney if you stay there like at the disney resorts? If it's in the same price range as Disney moderates, why stay there? Pls inform me! thanks

It is a Hilton which means it has Hilton feel, not a Disney Feel, it is a full service hotel with things like full room service which people are willing to pay for. It also has interior corridors and is in walking distance to DTD. All of those are pluses to some people. I have stayed there and liked it.

I like the Hilton .

It is just across the road from DTD. More of a Hilton feel as mentioned but it does have a Disney Store on the lobby level and one or the restaurants does a Disney Character breakfast on Sunday mornings.

Two large swimming pools plus a childrens pool and a large fitness center.

Shuttle buses to the parks are provided ( about every 30 mins)

My DDs and I are staying at the Hilton for our first DW trip. I knew about the EMH, but I didn't realize that it's within walking distance to DTD!

We have stayed there and thought it was nice. They really "made over" our kids. There are not as many kids here as the Disney hotels. If you are on the corrrect side you can see the DD fireworks out the window. Kinda fun. Be sure to sign up for Hilton Honors points. It is free to sign up on the Hilton website.

The Hilton is my favorite of all the DD hotels. Excellent restaurants - Enjoyed their buffet breakfast, lunch and a dinner buffet featuring seafood. The little store adjacent to the restaurant is excellent with a nice variety of items - Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The bus transportation to the parks was fine. I would stay there in a minute if I could get a good rate.
