In November, my family and I are going with another family to Disney. At least one day, the hubbies will play golf. So, that leaves one afternoon for the wives to do something solo while they watch the kiddies. Any ideas on something really fun to do together?

If you have an evening and no kiddos are involved, I suggest Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk.

Head to DTD and do a little shopping at the World of Disney store, show them the Lego stuff, grab a bite to eat and treat them and yourselves to Ghirardelli Ice Cream Sundae!!! We love it!:cool1:

While my DH and DB took our little guys on water sprites at the Grand Floridian, my DSIL and I cruised on down to the bar by the pool and had a margarita. It was so nice to sit and feel the breeze, and just relax. Not to mention that the margarita was really good too.:drinking1

Don't forget tea at the GF. My sister and I did this on our last trip

Thanks everyone for the great tips! I feel real pressure to find something worthy of an afternoon away from the kids (we're both mostly-stay-home-moms and have the kids a lot). My girlfriend had mentioned the tea at GF, I was thinking a spa treatment, but margarittas by the pool sounds divine, too! Decisions, decisions...:cloud9:

Got a girls only trip scheduled for the first week in May. We've got a spa treatment scheduled at the GF. Thinking about changing it to the Dolphin.

Do a fun tour, like ride the segways together.

Have lunch with an imagineer

Shop at DTD
