We will be on the DDP (1 cs, 1 ts, 1 s) plan durring our upcoming trip. We have ressies at Cali Grill, but now I need clarification as to what is concidered an entree on their menu. Flatbread? Sushi? Or only main course items?
Thanks

anything. Flatbread, sushi, first course or main course. However, if you're paying for DDP and trying to maximize, remember it's not the greatest value to use 2 credits for sushi or a flatbread or a first course as your entree.

I am using the Premium package next month and was wondering if there are any restrictions to the entrees I can order at certain restaurants. Can I order the lobster at Narcoosee's or the Steak & Lobster at Yachtsman's. I've also seen DP-"special" meals such as at Nine Dragons. Does this mean I would be limited to just that, or can I order whatever I want?

Anything you want (for the vast majority of what you may want).

There are very few actual restrictions on entrees, so pretty much anything on the menu that's called an entree is available.
  • Tokyo Dining - Sushi is not covered (though certain large combinations may be)
  • California Grill - Most sushi is not covered. There are 2 combination plates that are considered entrees
  • Restaurant Marrakesh - The "Feasts" require a small surcharge (~$7-$10 I believe)
  • Flying Fish Cafe - I'm 90% sure the Prix Fixe menu here is not available on the dining plan
  • Via Napoli - Only individual pizzas and standard entrees may be purchased with the plan, you are unable to combine credits to order larger pizzas (They changed this sometime after they opened, they originally allowed this). For the individual pizzas, you may either choose their "signature" pizzas or the create your own, but any toppings on the create your own will be out of pocket! (This is one of the stricter restaurants on the plan)
  • Any item that's listed as "For 2" must be ordered by 2 people on the plan.
Prix Fixe menus as several other locations (Le Cellier, Chefs de France, Kona Cafe, etc) ARE covered and DO offer an appetizer even for guests paying with the standard DDP (which is what you got :)).

This list was written with DDP in mind, not sure how the Sushi interacts with DxDDP or the package plans since they include app. Also the last note about Prix Fixe menus isn't all that important (that is the type of menu that you brought up regarding Nine Dragons) since you get an app anyway, but it's part of the copypasta block ;).

There are no DDP special meals in the sense that DDP users are restricted to ordering off a specific menu. They are not. You can choose to order from the prix fixe menu or the regular menu at the restaurants Caffeen named.
