What can I expect from Disney since I bought re-sale?

Dh and I first bought SSR onboard the DCL. Then we decided to buy re-sale, BWV. In the mean time, Disney sent us our welcome gift of the DVC back-pack. They said not to send it back when we cancelled our SSR contract. But, I'm wondering if they send out the same things when sending the papers out on re-sales. I wouldn't feel right getting 2 back-packs and tried to send the first one back.

Also, we bought from TTS. How will our papers arrive...Fed-ex, UPS, Snail mail?

I don't think you will get the welcome gifts, but in every other way, you will be treated the same as if you bought from Disney.

If they told you not to send it back, don't do it. It was their decision and shouldn't make you feel guilty or not. Enjoy the back pack and your BWV contract.

We bought resale, and didn't get any "gifts", so I bet the backpack is the only one you will get.

As far as what you will get, I think that depends on your guide. Some have received nothing. We got our 2 guidebooks (with our guide's name and card on them), and our DVC member cards...THREE set of them!!! LOL!!!

Since your guide knows you already have everything, I bet you receive nothing else (except your permanent cards).

The only thing you can expect from Disney is offers to add-on thru them.

MommaluvsDis-we also purchased SSR while at Disney in April. We got home, thought more about it, cancelled. We had come home with the backpack full of information, paperwork, etc. Then went to the Timeshare Store, bought a resale at OKW. We then received another member handbook and vacation planner with our original guide's business card attached. We didn't return anything.

Regarding the resale, we handled it through faxing, email and FedEx.
