The boards are actually pretty "cliquey" so when your new you dont get responded to a lot. But then you find some people that like you.

ah well, I'm new here too. Well, sort-of. I've kinda just been lurking for a few weeks, but still. Just keep posting on all the threads and start talking to people, and, y'know, make nice with people and they'll surely be nice back.

Ok. This may or may not apply to you, but here's what I've noticed with some new people on the boards:

1. They tend to start a lot of new threads. Generally, it's better to start posting on other threads so other people will get to know you and actually want to read your threads.
and
2. They tend to type like this.
OMG!!!!!!1 i liek cnat' believ robert pattinson is with so and so!!!! omigawd! any1 else agree???!!!!!??
of course, I'm exaggerating, but as a general rule, try to write in proper English with correct mechanics. It's so much easier and less annoying to read.
