Hi girls
Well I finally picked out the dress I LOVE:love: .. I will post some pics for you later on... It's a strapless ballgown.. So my chest will show. Now about 4 years ago I started to get blotches on my chest if I got nervous, scared, anxious, cry, excited, or worried. I mean they are red blotches that you can SEE. I know for my wedding day I am going to nervous and excited that these red blotches will appear on my chest. And I will be so embarrassed:blush:... I mean it is obvious when you see my chest. So my DF is telling me that I should put some makeup on my chest to cover it, but that won't help and I am afraid to stain the dress.. So did any of you have or had this problem when you got married... thanks for your input;)

have you been to see your doctor? they may be able to prescribe you something for it?

Let me see if this helps. I have a slight redness problem in my face for the same like you described. The facialist told me I probably have roscea. She gave me this cream to put on after I washed my face (morning and night) and it was supposed to help with it. I used it and it helped and it doesn't have really any color, it's a moisturizer. It's from a company you can buy in spas called physiodermie. The product is something like anti-redness serum or something.
I honestly would see a dermotolgist.
But if you put on a make-up, do this, a light coat of liquid then a light coat of powder. The wetness will be soaked up by the powder and then it shouldn't come off very easily. But give it like 20 minutes to dry and the loose to be fallen before putting on your dress.

Have you tried tanning? Does it still show up when you are tanned?

I know you said you don't want to try makeup, but have you ever tried Bare Minerals? It would cover you nicely, and not be messy like a liquid.

I have the exact same problem and I was wonderting the same thing!! I

Honestly, I am more worried about my "armpit fat" showing than the redness. I'd love to know how I get rolls there being I'm fairly thin, but it could be worse. :confused3

As for the redness, I'm hoping it won't be too bad and it'll fade away after the ceremony starts.

I'd say go get the dress. :yay:

I have the same issue. I am doing a spray tan before my wedding to minimize the blotches.

My friend has the exact same issue, and was worried about it for her wedding. Honestly, she noticed it when she was getting dressed but by the time she had her dress on, hair done etc. it was the furthest thing from her mind. She looked absolutely beautiful all day and nobody noticed at all. If you end up not being able to "fix" it, don't worry. You will look beautiful because you are the bride!:goodvibes
