What can I do for my 40th?

The one and only time DH surprised me was in 1990 when he booked us a weekend in Blackpool at a B&B. I'm not joking!:rotfl: I had to drive and we both wore shellsuits. We were proper 'old skool'.:rotfl:

:rotfl2:

I think it's so caring and thoughtful that your DH has booked the day off and planned something already! I'm sure it will be something that you'll really enjoy ~ if not, by the time your next milestone comes round, your eldest DD will be able to steer him in the right direction (that's what happened in our house although DH thinks it's all his idea. :rotfl: )

I'm touched and surprised that he has organised something. It's nice that he's thought about it in advance as he's usually 'last minute'.;) I'll let you know what happens!

Haha they still walk round there in shell suits now! A friend of mine from London wanted to do the 'Blackpool experience' so him and his GF came up here, stayed in a £12 per night B&B and ended up going home at 5 in the morning....having arrived at 11 the previous night....they couldnt stand the place, but for £6 each what do you expect!

We liked Blackpool! Chips, arcades, funfairs and illuminations - what's not to like? I'm glad they still wear shellsuits up there - DH is a scouser, so he'd probably still wear his if I'd let him.;)
