What can 82 year od MIL do while we are at Waterparks????

Well Summit Plummet might be a little too much for her, maybe Teamboat Springs or snorkeling with the sharks at Typhoon Lagoon.Whatever she tries I'm sure she'll enjoy!!!

Now seriously I'll agree with the Grand Floridian idea with the Tea and the spa, however since you know her and we don't you might know what she does like to do.If she's active she might want to go to Downtown Disney and go shopping or to the movies.

I actually have a simular situation. My MIL is taking a bus up to orlando our last day of our Disney vacation and riding back to KY with us and staying with us in our home for abour three weeks before taking a bus back home again.
Heres the thing...the last day is also our last day with a ticket. We will pick her up at the bus station at 5p and have dinner with her but...we will want to go back to a park I am guessing...after dinner. Well MIL won't have a ticket and I am sure doesn't want to pay money to go to one for that short of time. What should I do...I feel as though I can't leave her alone in the room or to go shopping and we run away to someplace different. Any suggestions?? Do they offer discounted tickets depending on when you arrive? How much is a one day ticket for a park?? Please tell me what to do? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Maybe leave this night open for doing other things like disney board walk....walking DTD ... Pleasure Island. This way you can still enjoy disney ...but its just not a park. If you think about it... by the time you pick her up and finish dinner it will be at least 7pm.

I hear the piano player/entertainer Bob, at POR is really good, funny and family friendly. Going to find out for myself in Nov. I think he is only there in the evenings though, not sure which days.

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I know for sure that MIL isn't into the spa thing but you know I think I will just hang out in the non-park areas with her after dinner...or maybe tour some of the other hotels...I really like her alot and can't imagine letting her spend the time alone while me and the kids wonder off to the parks...we are there such a long time and if we haven't seen enough till she comes to town...well...there is always another time.

Thanks again!
