What camera should I get

I want a small camera that still takes decent pics to take to Disney.

I am not a photography buff, but want to be able to snap good pictures of my kids in varying light conditions.

I have a Kodak with 10x optical that I like, but its so big.

Can anyone make a recommendation for something smaller that takes good pidctures.
