What Camera Model and Eq. Do You Use for Disney Pics

I use a Nikon D200 DSLR with a Nikkor 18-200mm VR lens and a Nikkor 50mm 1.8 lens. My handy dandy P&S is a Coolpix 3100.

I have been considering this camera for my b-day WDW trip. My current digi cam is woefully outdated.

How does it handle night shots and high speed stuff? Have you taken any pics of the fireworks or Fantasmic with it?

It will do good low light shots as long as the subject is not moving and you use a tripod. It is not that great at low light motion shots, but to be fair no p&s is. You might get some decent shots at Fantasmic as there are some points in the show that are not all that low in light. There will be parts of the show that are impossible though. Try to get as close as possible. As long as a camera has manual mode and is on a tripod, you can do fireworks shots. The S3 does not have a remote shutter release available, so you would need to use the two second delay and hope for the best on your timing. I am amazed at the varied types of equipment that people use. I use 3 different cams depending on the situation:

Sony T-30 cybershot

Canon 30D
2 sigma zoom lenses

Hasselblad 503cw with 80mm lens.
