What Burns Your Biscuits?

What is your VMK pet peeve? When you're just minding your own business and you witness one of the choices in the poll, what really ticks you off the most? Bay be, taken, free, army, pets/zoos?

I don't like any of the choices, but bay be is to me the most annoying. I picked bay be, because its just so annoying, and very silly. I know that children like to play ''house'' and all that sort of thing, but I usually get the impresssion that most ''bay be'' are not children at all.

I want to know.. What burns your biscuits, and why?

Well I know how to make biscuits. The usual cause for burning your biscuits is not paying attention to the time. You can easily be distracted causing you to leave them in the oven too long. I have also seen uneven cooking of the biscuits, like when the tops are brown but the centers are still doughy. This indicates that your temperature is too high and should be adjusted down.

ON TOPIC... I have to vote "bay.be". Something about "baby talk" makes my blood pressure rise dramatically. And I really really *hate* it when the "bay.be" comes up to me in VMK and asks if I will be their mother. "NO!! I HAVE ENOUGH KIDS ALREADY!" (my standard response)

Yes my oven has too along with the cake I forgot I had set in the oven to get it out of the way...what a mess. I can't believe I just told everybody that.

Anyway back to the subject. Since I could only select one I went with Free for now. We all know we dislike the bay be and taken but for the past month almost every other time someone ask to Trade they ask for FREE. Than they tell me why they should get free..

I just don't go to the rooms and if somebody asks me to be their 'mummy' or if I'm taken I say no. My biscuits are cooked to perfection.

I used to say something like that but then they got the idea I meant fake kids, not real ones and kept asking anyway.

Instead, I found telling them "No thanks. I have a real family." does the job just fine.

Then she said "wook at my cut wittle face' or something like that.
I then said, I have a cute little face looking at me right now. I am sorry, but that does not work on me anymore.!!

Probably free is the most annoying. I don't like it when people ask me to trade either, I don't like to trade. And then once i say no, they keep on requesting. That "Burns My Biscuits"

I have noticed alot of you have wondered why there isn't an ''all of the above'' choice in the poll. The reason I did that is I know that all of those things bother people to some degree, but I wanted to know out of personal curiousity which one is considered the most annoying. This choice, along with pets/zoos probably bothers me the least, but it still makes me mad. To some people it could be really offending, I have three cousins in the army and they all have been to Iraq to fight. Two of them almost died, and I think making a game out of the army is very ignorant.

I know that little boys like to play ''cops and robbers'' and stuff like that, and they may not realize how some people might feel about it and that's why I didn't vote for it in the poll. However, it still burns my biscuits.

My little brother joined the VMK ''Tron'' army, but I yelled up a storm at him about our cousins and he promptly disbanded.
