I'll agree with the posters who said Australian Shepard mix. I have a 1/2 Aussi Mix and she looked alot like that as a puppy.

Gotta love those pound puppies! From a Lover of rescue dogs! My friend has a 5 month old puppy that is similar too. So you can add maybe in the mix(border collie/chow mix). Yea I agree with everyone else w/ husky/shep.

Looks like a typical shepard cross. Actually kind of a common mutt look. I'm guessing he is going to be VERY large!

longer snout/markings highly suggestive of shepard. Possibly some lab, from the ears and coloring. Akita is a possiblity, as is (are?) any of the husky/sled dog line. He has big feet- he's gonna be a stocky boy.

Whatever he is, he is adorable, alert and ready to go. Congrats....have fun, and remember, he is just a baby (repeat that to self over and over when he eats your calculator/channel changer, makes a mess, etc....then return to these pictures, hold him while he sleeps and say "ahhhhhhh")

I hope you don't mind if I ask the same thing about my puppy Eragon. I adopted him from the Humane Society last year in March, and have absolutely no clue what kind of dog he is. I was told part collie, but I'm not even sure that is accurate. I've been very curious what breeds he is a mix of. Here are some pictures:

The little one is Matthias, he is a half dachshund/jack russell terrier. I always joke that he was Eragon's Christmas gift. They are quite the dynamic duo.

Maybe some Shetland Sheep dog? His tail looks a little like a Pom?
He is precious!

Pixar looks like a shepard of some sort and beagle...He is beautiful and it's wonderful that you rescued a pup! Enjoy him!

The first puppy looks like an Akita/Beagle (snout shaped like a beagle).

The second puppy looks like a Pomeranian mix. The back legs and low rib cage remind me of another breed, but the name escapes me.
