What brand of scrapbook do you buy?

I have looked for an answer to this on FAQ and Tips/techniques but did not find anything.

I have always used CM, but saw some scrapbooks at Michael's that looked similar for a lot less. What are your thoughts?

I personally use American Crafts d-ring binders. I use their cloth binders for my holidays and celebrations albums and their modern binders for my other library albums. Can get them in either 12x12 or 8.5x11.

CM and only Cm - but we don't get much choice here;)

CM and only CM for the quality.:)

I used to use CM but I bought 2 Martha Stewart 12x12 albums at Michaels (with 50% off coupons) and I really like them. Go figure.

I like CM also but I have to say I have purchased the look alikes from Michaels and I like them just as well. They are much cheaper also and you can use a coupon, they also go on sale sometimes.

I used to use CM exclusively, but I bought a couple K&Company and a couple albums from Costco (can't remember the brand but they come in a two-pack) and I like them - totally different style than CM. I prefer CM but sometimes it's just not in the budget and it's fun to try something different.

I used to only use CM albums, but I have ordered some top loading ones from collectedmemories.com and I reallly like those too.

I have a couple of CM albums. I also have some of the look-alikes from Westrim. It's nice to use those M's and HL coupons to get them. My CM consultant didn't even notice any difference. I did start getting the albums at Archiver's, though. They are an Archiver's brand. I like them because they hold 12x12 layouts but also have 12x12 pages with 6 pockets on them if I want to add photos without scrapping them. (gasp!) I haven't found any other brands with that flexibility.

That sounds like a great idea. I'll have to check those out next time I'm at Archivers.

I buy whats on sale at Micheals EXCEPT for our Disney stuff, then I pony up for a Disney themed one!

For those of you using the American Crafts albums, I just got an email from scrapbook.com that says they are 15% off with the code: acalbum15. Hope that helps!

Although CM DOES offer their version of a top loading 12 x 12 album called Picfolio Max as well as the slide in pocket pages album called Picfolio Milestones.
I'm sure your CM Consultant can give you more info.

Wow, it seem that there has been success with a lot of different brands. A question about the D-Rings, they look a lot like a binder. Is that how they work?
