Washer & Dryer - Maytag neptune
Freezer - Whirlpool
Range - Whirlpool
Side by Side - Kitchen Aid
Dishwasher - Kitchen Aid
Microwave - Kitchen Aid

We decided to steer clear of GE when we realized our old washing machine had a CEMENT BLOCK as a counter balance!!!!!

YIKES! No more GE in this house EVER!!!!!

I'm on my 2nd house of Whirlpool appliances. I haven't had any trouble with any of them. Well except for the drip my 11 year old washer started yestereday. But it's a minor fix.

Most of our appliances are either Kenmore or Whirlpool.

We have bought 5 houses in 15 years of marriage so we have had every kind of appliance! My favorite stoves have been Jennaire! Even old they are great with the griddle, grill, etc. We have had GE stuff in the past and been very happy, but I have heard that their newer stuff is not as good. In two houses we put all new Kenmore appliances and were very happy with the quality, of couse we did not stay long enough for them to get old! We totally remodeled this house when we moved in and decided to go with all Maytag stuff. It is all large capacity stuff which I love having four kids but a lot of things had minor problems at first. That lonely Maytag repairman was at our house quite a bit that first year (HAHA) Since that time everything seems fine. The dishwasher gets off all kinds of baked on stuff and I love stuffing that Neptune washer every day. I'm not sure that it acctually gets the clothes cleaner but I do far less loads per day!

dishwasher - Maytag
Stove & Refrigerator - GE - Profile Series
Dryer - GE
Washer - Amana
Freezer (chest) - Gibson
Televisions - Magnavox, GE, RCA, Quasar, Sony, Samsung

The dishwasher is way too loud, other than that--I'm happy with all of our appliances. I've had a Kenmore frig/dishwasher in the past, Magic Chef ranges/ovens, Gibson dryer, International Harvester refrigerator (yeah, that one was old) and I'm sure others I don't recall.

I've really not found that one works better than another, for the most part. The RCA tv bit the bullet before any of the others. The GE lasted the longest (large console TV and worked for 20 years without a bit of trouble). I have the worst luck with dryers (I've had 4 in 21 years) and vacuum cleaners (I've had more vacuums than I can count and haven't been happy with any!).

Fridge-GE Profile Arctica, Whirlpool (secondary)
Stove-GE Profile Performance Spectra
Micro-GE Profile Performance
Dishwasher- GE Profile Performance Triton
Washer - GE Profile
Dryer - Kenmore (came with the house, only one we haven't replaced)
TV's-Toshiba 34" HDTV Cinema Series, Sony, RCA, Quasar
Grill - Weber Genesis 1000 LP
Audio - mix of Kenwood, Marantz, Sony and Infinity.

Used to have a Sony in my main TV room, but the current Toshiba BLOWS AWAY everything else I've had, especially when viewing High Def.

Fridge---Maytag
Dishwasher---Maytag
Microwave---Emerson
Washer---Kenmore
Dryer---Whirlpool

Very happy w/ my 3 yo Maytag dishwasher.
My washer and dryer set is GE and is 17 years old!!! With a family of 6 you better believe they have seen some use. (I've probably jinxed myself by bragging and one of them will die tomorrow!)
My refrig. is Fridgidaire. We bought it recently to replace the one my parents gave us when we were first married --- it was an unbelievable 32 years old (had scratches on the side made by my brother who is now 35!) The appliance salesman told us not to expect the Fridgidaire to last that long. "They don't make 'em like they used to".
My stove/oven is the crown of my kitchen. It is an unknown brand and dates back to the early '50's. It is in great condition, beautiful pure white porcelain (not vinyl/enamel) and we get many compliments on it. The only problem is, if something ever goes wrong with it we will NEVER be able to find parts for it.

Do I get the prize for oldest appliances???:bounce: :bounce:

Washer/Dryer........Maytag

That's it! You see I am not loyal to any one brand...except this is my 3rd set of Maytag Washer/Dryers!

Washer - - - - - - - - Kenmore

Refridgerator - - - - Maytag
T.V. - - - - - - - - - - - Sony

My dryer is part of the washer/dryer set (Maytag) that my parents and grandmother bought for us when we bought our first house. It's now 24 years old. The washer lasted 20 years, and we didn't have a problem at all with it until it died.
My MIL loved Kenmore products, and DH can't figure out why I'm not too fond of them (my Mom doesn't like Sears). Of course we bought the refridgerator at Sears (though it's a Maytag) and just tried to replace the water filter in it. The salesman gave us the "You're not worth my time" attitude, and said that we'd have to check with the service/repair location "and they don't have a phone there". That last was in response to my question about calling the location to see if they have the filter before we waste the time to go over.
They won't get any more of my money in their appliance department.....
