What book are you currently reading?

Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. I like it better than The Da Vinci Code, which I didn't care for that much.

The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien! I love the LOTR MOVIES (i have all of them) I love Legolas(he's my favorite in the Fellowship) I love Orlando Bloom more:teeth:  And Pete jackson is making The Hobbit into the movie...I'm a LOTR obsessie!:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

I just finished Hiroshima by John Hersey. It tells about 6 survivors of the first atomic bomb.
It is the first time I have read about World War II from a Japanese point of view. I read it on one day because it was so interesting.

How does it compare to Sue Grafton's previous books?

:D

I honestly love all of the books in the series. Some are better than others I will admit. This was a goodie; Kinsey finds herself a new boyfriend! :teeth:

I just finished, The DaVinci Code. I love, love, LOVED it! I'm waiting for a friend to send me Angels and Demons when she finishes it.

I'm also waiting for a group of Nicholas Sparks books that I ordered from ebay. I can't wait to read The Notebook since I have kids and don't get to see adult themed movies until they come out on video.

I'm also waiting to receive Sam's Letters to Jennifer by James Patterson. It's the only one of his books that I haven't read yet.

Just back from vacation and I read "Trading Up" by Candance Bushnell and "Confessions of a Shopaholic" by Sophie Kinsley. :)

I went to Borders today (got a GC for my Birthday) and bought "Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons" by Lorna Landvik and "Angels" by Marian Keyes. :)

I just finished reading The Second Assistant by Mimi Hare. Fiction - tales of working in Hollywood. Cute book.

The Teeth of the Tiger by Tom Clancy and Trojan Odyssey by Clive Cussler. Both good books. Tom Clancy's gives you some thinking to do next time you go to the mall.

Just finished Safe Harbor by Danielle Steele.

I really wish she'd do more historical books. She's done to many "modern" ones.....

I am reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown for my personal reading pleasure.

I am reading Dear Mr Henshaw by Beverly Cleary and trying to decide whether to use it in my classroom for book clubs.

Just finished reading:

The Other Man - Michael Bergin

Inside the Kingdom - Carmen Bin Ladin

Currently reading I Know This Much IS True by Wally Lamb.

I'm currently reading "Soul Pirates". It's this obscure sci-fi novel about these other worldly beings who go around stealing people's souls. It gave me nightmares.:earseek:

I'm reading the Lonely Planet's guide to Peru (I read lots of travel books) and I've been reading Mark Twain's Letters from Hawaii for quite a while. :teeth:

I'm currently reading "The Second Assistant". Its similar to the Nanny Diaries or The Devil Wears Prada, except this is the "fictional" account of a lowly assistant to a Hollywood agent. Its pretty funny, although not as good as the two aforementioned books, at least not yet.

If you like Christian romance, try the books by Lori Copeland. I just finished the one titled, Patience. It's from the series called Brides of the West. (Patience is the name of the central character.)

An Embarrassment of Mangoes by Ann Vanderhoof
