What book are you currently reading?

Just started The Rule of Four. Someone recommended it to me so I figured I'd give it a try.

That was a really good book. I just finished The Last Cato and it was good too. Sort of along the lines of DaVinci code, but with a female protagonist.

Haven't had the chance to hit the library yet since we just got back from WDW Sunday, but now I have a list of possiblities from seeing what you guys are reading. Thanks!

Just started Sweetgrass by Mary Alice Monroe because I enjoyed her book, The Beach House (a good summer/beach read).

do books on tape count? or rather books on cd...LOL I have a long commute and the audio books help pass the time. I am currently listening to Eragon and it's pretty good. A Yahoo! search shows that it's being made into a movie to be released in December. Who knew? I never heard of Eragon until I picked up the audiobook...
Oh I loved Eragon!! I stole it from my son when I had nothing to read and couldnt put it down. Now I have been waiting for months for him to finish the next one "Eldest". He sure is taking his time.

I just picked up Angels and Demons. We have a book swap library at the airport where I work so I pick up some books there when I cant make it to the used book store.

I am reading 'Summer of 49" by Halberstam

Just finished "S is for Silence" by Sue Grafton. Good as usual. Just started "4th of July" by James Patterson.

I'm working on The Davinci Code right now- at the rate I have been finding time to read it, I'll watch the movie when it is out on DVD!

The Commitment : Love, Sex, Marriage, and My Family by Dan Savage, for the third time. And also PhotoShop Masking and Compositing by Katrin Eismann.

I'm currently reading "Loamhedge" by Brian Jaques. Book on cd wise, I have "Redwall" by the same author in my mp3 player while I do the tredmill. :cool1:

For those that have read "Eragon", do you think a very advanced 8 year old could read it/would like it. He's a great reader and is on the last Harry Potter book and I'm wondering if he would like that series. Is it very scary?

I just finished "Dispatches from the Edge" by Anderson Cooper of CNN....it's his memoirs and the section on Hurricane Kartrina had me in tears....I must admit I found this book very hard to put down.

I read that one last weekend, fantastic! So emotional.

Heretic by Bernard Cornwall. It's the final book in the archer trilogy and is very good.

I'm not so patiently waiting for my Dad to finish Mayflower by Nathaniel Philbrick. He keeps telling me how wonderful it is but he's not reading it fast enough :furious: I'll probably pick up Book of the Dead by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child next.
