What "BIG" events are going on in January 06?

We have gone in January a couple of times, but I was wondering if there was somewhat of a complete list of all the "Happenings" that will be going on during the month.

I know there is the Marathon (Not sure of Dates), I know there is a Cheer thing happening too (not sure of Dates). There is usually a bunch of Conventions going on too, but are there any listings of how many and when?

Marathon weekend begins on Friday - Jan 6. Half marathon and Family Fun Runs are Sat Jan 7. Full marathon is Sun Jan 8.

I was told that there is a huge Homebuilders Convention going on in mid-January, but I don't know any of the details.
