Galveston Island, a couple of weeks ago. Not my favorite beach, but it's 20 minutes from home.

I lived there when I was an army brat. Our apartment was literally across the street from the beach.

I went to Rocky Neck State Park in CT today. It is about 20 min from me. We went last Thursday too & actually had some big surf. My kids had a blast.

Today my kids caught a crab. Sadly they buried it in their bucket & it is now sea gull food.

Bradley Point near Savin Rock in West Haven, CT. Just back from visiting my hometown this weekend.

When I was in HS, it was a big deal to go to Jimmy's. I can't believe we woud wait a few hours to be seated. But we were young & stupid.
