What type of music does he play - old piano faves like Sweet Caroline to sing along to? Or just backgraound music?

He definitely does not play background music! His show is VERY interactive and involves the audience on every song. They are usually "sing alongs", with an occasional one that shows off his piano skills to end each break . I don't think that I have ever seen a performer get into his show more. During his brief breaks he walks through the front room speaking with folks to fi nd out where they are from and then incorporates the names and places into the show. If you prefer to watch and listen then you can sit in the back. He is definitely "high energy" as you may be able to tell from his photos on his website. Highly recommended!
