Looking for a bag to carry to the parks. No small kids. Looking for a backpack or sling bag. Any recommendations?

I usually carry a Vera Bradley hipster or mailbag - gives me room for phone, wallet, sunscreen spray, tissues and a water bottle

I have a little backpack , the ones JCpenny's had way back when. It carry's a lot. It is just a little to small though for the iPad, but the mini might fit it.

My favorite is a Vera Bradley Mini Hipster (in Disney pattern of course). I used to use a Bagellini which was a little larger and it was a sling.

I have a small publix string backpack that I got for free and I love that backpack. It carry a lot stuff to.

I have a sling backpack bag that I love. I bought it about 10 years ago, I think it's Eagle Creek brand. It's not full backpack sized, it's sort of triangular shaped and low profile if that makes sense, but it holds everything we need if we are not packing in water bottles. I like that my shoulders are free and my back doesn't get hot. It's small enough to slide around to my side or front and hold when I get on most rides (like I would a cross body handbag, instead of having a backpack that I have to store at my feet).

We use an LL Bean Healthy back bag used a sling bag. We got a black one it works for either spouse.

After reading similar threads I picked up a sling bag from Amazon for my most recent trip. I really enjoyed being able to access it without taking it off and I think the size was perfect as long as you don't need to haul food or kid stuff. It's cheap, well made, and offers some water protection. Mesh strap, cell phone pocket on the strap, water bottle pocket, and pocket on the back for valuables that isn't visible when worn. Two thumbs up! I got it in blue - it was not as shockingly blue as it showed on my computer screen, it's more subdued.

I own this one from Eddie Bauer:

I haven't used it at WDW yet (2 more weeks!) but I did try it out at our local theme park/water park and it was perfect for the most part. It's very lightweight, comfortable to wear, it has a couple of divider pockets in it, etc. The only thing I didn't like about it was my Klean Kanteen stainless water bottle doesn't fit well in the side mesh pocket (it's heavy when filled anyway) so I just threw it into the zippered section. Other than that, I really like the bag.

It depends on what you want to carry. For the minimum (sunglasses, id, money, small camera, Chapstick, phone) I carry a Kavu napsack http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BFQ2IM6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00

For more stuff (water bottle, bigger camera, hat, light sweater, small fan, plus all the stuff I carry in the smaller bag) I go with my Keen Brookly II. http://www.amazon.com/Keen-Brooklyn...3631&refinements=p_lbr_brands_browse-bin:Keen

Really love both bags - I take them both on vacation just in case. Spent so many years trying out bags and just not finding the "perfect" bag for trips. The Keen is amazing. I was able to fit so much in it! I would have it pretty full and I would still be able to stash bags of souvenirs. It also has a key clip, tons of pockets and a mesh pocket for a water bottle inside the bag.

I have tried several different bags, but I really love my D&B backpack, I've carried it to the parks and it's great for me. I also have a cinch bag (like the ones you can buy at Disney World and several other places) and I like it too. Those are the two bags I take to the parks. I used to use a crossbody bag but was having issues with them digging in on my shoulder so I switched to a backpack and I'm much happier. My sister has a VB small backpacks and that she loves using in the parks. And my niece has a Kavu sling style backpack that she uses a lot. So those would be ones I'd suggest looking into.
