what bag to bring

I plan on bring a tote bag with a change of clothes for the kids and suntan lotion etc and put it in a locker when we get to the park. But what kind of bag should I bring with me in the park for camera, batteries, wallet and small snacks for kids. I've looked at the LL Bean healty back bag has anyone carried that around the parks? I noramlly carry a Vera Bradley back pack but I don't know if that will be to hot to carry around with me. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks, Nancy

I saw loads of Vera in the parks, so I don't think it would get too hot.

I bought an Ameribag Healthy Back Bag for my trip. I have been using it everyday as a purse and I love it...cant wait to try it out in the parks. I bought the small and has plenty of room in it...I carry my digital camera in it all the time for the jobs I do plus my wallet and a few other things and still have room to spare....they really are great bags.

We do the same thing...pack a bag for the locker and one to carry in the park.

We carry a backpack, but we don't overload it. Just the neccesities in it...camera, water, SOME snacks. We carry a backpack because it's 'gender friendly' and my husband and I can take turns carrying it. As long as we don't overload it...it's never too heavy or bothersome.

Yeah, my back gets a little sweaty, but to me...it's more comfortable then carrying a bag over the shoulder.

I just bought an Ameribag because several ladies in my office just love theirs and it's now the main bag they use for everyday. One of the ladies used it on her trip to Australia last year and said it was great. I can't wait to use mine!
